If you want to go see Angthong Marine Park just choose this tour and be done. The experience is so great I was thinking to myself this one day trip was worth the entire trip around the world from the United States. Every moment of the day is choreographed to perfection. The boat is beautiful, the food is wonderful and cooked fresh onboard, and staff are awesome! Towards the end of the day there is a stop at a cove where other tours visit. They have arranged it so their boat is the last one for the day and any other has to depart when the Red Dragon arrives. The people departing were on the "speed boat" tour. I literally felt bad for them watching them sit inside a big fiberglass boat not being able to enjoy anything while banging around on the waves. I will be going back to Ko Samui in 2024 and 1000% for sure I will do this tour again.

Wow! All I can say about this tour. My husband and I totally enjoyed it! Our guide, Yankee, was very knowledgeable about the places and the area. He even Took us to the Samui Elephant Sanctuary and it was such an amazing experience. We got to walk the skywalk and feed them. Do not miss this! The elephants are so happy and well taken care of. Definitely a must do! And request Yankee as your guide!

Awesome tour! It was the first one of the season and it couldn’t have been better! Ben, our guide, was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and fun! The driver picked us up from our hotel right on time, brought us to the agency place where we got explained the itinerary, what to expect, were given few tips and we even got our own refilable water bottles for the whole trip. Right after, we jumped on our speedboat that would bring us to the first stop to do some snorkeling already near the park. On the boat, we were offered refreshments and fruit as snacks, delicious! We were very lucky and saw many of the fish that lived in the area, guided by 3 other guides who were finding the fish and pointing them so we could watch closely. We even went inside a cave, that was incredible! Afterwards we drove through the park, saw the many little islands that compose the park and stopped in one with an idilic beach to relax and have homemade food brought by the team, which was local, delicious and for all tastes. After relaxing on the hammocks and taking insta-worth pictures by one of the guides (who was really proactive and knew the best spots), we did a kayak trip towards the island where the Emerald lagoon is located. The kayak was fun, the guides had our phones so they could even take fun pictures on the cool spots. As we arrived to the island, we noticed how lucky we were as pretty much we were the only people there at that time. To get to the lagoon, we climbed the steep steps, guided by Ben, who knew a lot about the flora and fauna of the area and we even saw a bat! The lagoon is magnificent and so worth climbing for! After taking several pictures, we went downstairs to take a closer look of the lagoon and then Ben guided us back to the beach through a little shortcut. Our boat was already waiting for us there, and as we had a bit of time to spare, they brought us to another beautiful beach to relax a bit more before heading back home. Overall, it was an incredible experience that we recommend a 100%! The team is unbelievably kind and attentive and so worth paying the extra price for a bit more privacy on the tour.

When we first arrived, there were so many people that I wondered what on earth I had booked! But it was actually very well organised and everyone is split into groups with a different coloured bit of wool around your wrist and you stay with your own group of around 40-45.

I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lack of breakfast. There was only white coffee available in ready made sachets which are also sweetened. As I only drink black coffee there was nothing for me. Then breakfast was just a few biscuits, most of which had gone by time we arrived. Advice would be to eat before you go!

Our guide Romi was absolutely brilliant and he made the trip even better and we had a fabulous trip. There was plenty of snorkelling to do and kayaking was good too. The views are stunning and well worth seeing. We all climbed the steps to see the lagoon but only my husband climbed the 700 steps in the heat to see the islands from the highest point. Myself and my 14 year old went snorkelling again!

Water is available all day and the Thai lunch on the beach was delicious.

Would recommend (apart from the breakfast!)

This was an okay fun experience. We had done a snorkeling trip in Phuket earlier in the week and that was amazing, this one didn’t quite live up to that one. It is guided but it’s just a quick snorkeling trip and then you go to pig island. Pigs are cute but honestly we were just hanging out there doing nothing for a little to long. They do have kayaks available to paddle once your there but again just a little boring.

The tour was very well organised, pick and up and drop off was easy, the tour guide was lovely and charismatic. We went to 2 mountains and the views from the top were incredible. The lunch served was also tasty. Snorkelling could be skipped as there weren’t many fish to see, however the tour was very enjoyable overall.

Chef Lat is amazing... a little bundle of enthusiasm, humour & mind of information! We cooked pad thai, made 2 different types of curry paste, then used them in making tom yum soup & Penang curry. Also made our own coconut cream & milk and a cheeky little papaya salad. Very hands on and interesting and informative class. Would highly recommend to budding cooks of all abilities. Lat proudly showed us around her large organic garden where most of the ingredients we cooked with were sourced from - all the herbs and vegetables, as well as eggs. Also has a mini fish farm and worm farm which provides the farm with organic fertiliser. Fascinating set up.

Really great trip, thank you Mr Tu and the team.

Well organized, and we went to some great spots for snorkeling.

Koh Tao for lunch was amazing, nice and quiet, and so beautiful.

    I highly recommend this trip.

I took this tour with a friend, we were in a group of about 20 people. The hotel pickup worked out well. We were then brought to the pier where we all had to check in and pay the entry to the park. If you are a breakfast person, make sure you eat breakfast before your pickup because what is offered at the pier is not much (cookies, watermelon, croissants, tea, coffee and juice).
We had to wait at the pier for quite awhile. About an hour. The first stop was the snorkeling. My friend and I didn't snorkel so I can't comment on that. Then everyone went kayaking off an island. We didn't do that either but people seemed to have enjoyed it. Then there was lunch on the beach. The food was actually really good. But make sure you bring paper tissue and some disinfectant with you as there is no paper, soap OR water at the toilet.
After lunch we got back on the boat and went to the Ang Thong Park. In order to see the famous view you have to hike up a mountain (500 m) which was very very hard (at least past the initial 200 m) and unfortunately we only had 1 hour to do that. We gave up at 200 m because you can already get a glimpse of the view from there and we didn't want to overheat trying to rush to the top. I really wish we had 1.5 hrs instead of 1.

Overall it was a good day. However, it wasn't much of a tour (there was no information provided about the sights we have visited). It was more of a transfer service but that is really all we needed anyway.

In the morning we travelled up the mountain to a spectacular look out and then to a small waterfall for a swim. Lunch at a scenic spot looking out over the jungle down to the water was lovely. It absolutely bucketed down (rained heavily for the non-Aussies) in the afternoon of our tour which didn't make for ideal sight seeing but did make for great fun off-roading in the ATVs. Chris (fellow Aussie) and Bom were great guides and helped us navigate the tough terrain. We didn't book the Z10 buggy off the back of someone else's review that they were no different to the old ones. They were definitely newer, bigger and the couple in the Z10 seemed to navigate a tricky spot we weren't in 4WD or low gear for better than anyone else so I wouldn't probably go the Z10. The Z8 was still plenty of fun.
