This was an astonishingly positive experience. I was traveling alone and I have a disability so I was nervous whether I'd be able to participate in this activity. My tour guide Arm 2 was very accommodating and found ways to make sure I could participate safely with the group. I learned so much and came away feeling so grateful for the opportunity to make this connection with these marvelous animals and their caregivers.

Even though I’m not huge into visiting temples, it was pretty amazing to see this one. How well it’s been maintained over the many years, the calmness that’s within, and the detailed creation that was done so many years ago.

I enjoyed walking around this beautiful temple’s grounds. The flowers are beautiful and the temples are very peaceful & full of detailed art. I don’t usually visit temples but this one is worth a visit!

Wat Pha Lat is a beautiful temple with beautiful surroundings and is very well worth visiting. One could take the tougher route up by hiking, as I did, and the easier route down by vehicle, as I also did.

Sumptuous garden(s). Well worth exploring. Used the free shuttle bus which run more or less continuously so just wait at the same place you alighted to hop on the next shuttle. There is a coffee shop near the entrance and also a restaurant within the complex. Lots of toilets available throughout the park.

Unfortunately heavy rain curtailed our visit to this series of waterfalls. Nevertheless, even though we could only go as far as the fifth viewpoint, it was worth the admission money. The falls were very active which wasn’t surprising given the amount of rainfall so some care had to be taken on the footpath. The first few stages are wheelchair accessible.
It’s not just the waterfall that is a very good attraction but the plants, shrubs and trees. There are many different varieties and where you have trees, there will be insects in abundance.
There is a large car park and the inevitable food stalls nearby.
Well worth visiting particularly in dry weather.

Once in a life time experience, the Yi Peng& Loy Krathong festival. There were celebrations for approximately 3 days. Very interesting culture exposure and there were street parade by the locals, floats made of flowers, cultural costumes and endless night markets with varieties of food, souvenirs etc..

The experience was terrific! We had an amazing tour guide and the elephants seemed rather happy! Cliff jumping seemed fun (my dad and brother jumped) and overall I would definitely do it again many times over. I'll forever remember this amazing experience ❤️

A very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing park! I immediately felt embraced with peace as I walked in. The fountains have a refreshing sound, it’s pretty quiet, and there are plenty of benches to relax on. I took a book and found a perfect place to just read and people watch. There is a walking path with small gym equipment stations and a playground for kids at the far end. I enjoyed a scoop of ice cream from one of the vendors inside.

I went only because my friend wanted me to join her. Even if it's a sanctuary, you have to stop and think about the animals that are being used daily for humans egotistical ways. I was actually okay at first and was enjoying it until the end when the elephants got into the water and I saw one of the men pull on the elephants ears to get him to lay down in the water. I was done after that and was ready to go. These animals are not free and are still treated like circus animals. I think the only support is to not to go to any of these at all. The one thing I did love was the area. Al of the greenery around you was just amazing! I love nature

We loved our experience in the Evening cooking class. Tay was a fantastic host throughout (and very funny), and we really enjoyed learning about the ingredients and cooking the delicious courses.

    Would recommend!

This was by far one of the best experiences of my life. I went with my 5 best friends on this beautiful trekking with the best guide you could possibly imagine, Wan! Truly such a nice man, he talked with such passion about everything we saw and we learned so much from him in a very fun way. There were also so many little surprises along the way, and we found it amazing we could help with things like traditional cooking. Wan we are so grateful that you made this such a legendary experience for us! Thank you so much!!!

We booked a half day evening cooking class super spontaneously and the trip really exceeded our expections! The program was really cool including a stop at a local market, a tour around the organic farm and the cooking of 4 Thai dishes everyone could choose! Moreover our guide Garnet was the most likeable and funny person. She told us so many things about Thai culture and food and made us feel really welcome. Absolute must do while in Chiang Mai!!

If you are a foodie and want to have an incredible local culinary/cooking experience while in Chiang Mai, you MUST go to Zabb E Lee Thai Cooking School!

Our teacher, Rainy, was beyond amazing…she was super fun/funny, high energy, and an even better teacher.

The market where they first took us to walk around and buy local ingredients we would later use to cook with was great…but the actual school itself was beyond beautiful and extremely clean.

I recommend to go here early on in your trip as we got to cook 5 different dishes and you’ll learn what you like to eat for the rest of your trip in Thailand.

Thank you to Rainy and the rest of the Zabb E Lee team as this was an incredible experience that we will never forget! We will think about you all every time we cook something from your cookbook that you gave us to take back home!
