- Katie W1 contributionIf you're looking for a gym to get fit, learn new skills, and grow as a person, this is the place. Sakan, Jamie, and the other coaches focus on how each individual can improve without machismo. The coaches are not only amazing practitioners themselves but also great teachers whose individual teaching styles complement each other. I highly recommend trying a less known martial art like Silat of Kali to supplement boxing or MMA. There's a reason Sakan and Jamie have kept a core community of students for many years.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian S5 contributionsI visited Chiang Mai for a short, spontaneous trip and Team Quest: Thailand helped accommodate me so I could make the most of the time spent there. The trainers were top notch and friendly. The Thais who coached had good English and kept practices fun and informative.
They arranged a fight for me at my request in advance so I was able to compete one day after stepping off the plane. They helped me find everything I needed, recommended restaurants, and even drove me to the store when I first arrived so I could pick up some basic essentials.
I stayed in their single rooms. It’s basic, but if you’re there to train and fight you don’t need much more than what they were providing and it was for the right price.
The team comprised of an international group of men and women with various skill sets. There was a good community there. On Sunday we hung out, cooked out, and celebrated a team member’s birthday.
When I fought I was transported by the Thai coaches to the venue. They wrapped my hands, gave me an oil massage, and helped me navigate the Thai way of conducting a Muay Thai fight.
Given the limitations of time I had in Chiang Mai, I don’t see how I could have asked for anything more from Team Quest: Thailand and look forward to coming back again.Written September 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Renovations are complete, and the site is really exceptionally well-appointed for its size. Kru Deng is off the charts friendly and helpful, but then so were all the other instructors I met, each of whom immediately grasped my (intermediate, non-professional) level and worked with me where I was while modifying instruction for all the other students, farang and local alike. A respectful environment, but with a true focus on conditioning alongside technique. That said: lots of laughs to be had, too. Don't come looking to be pampered, and you'll get a ton of learning and fun out of the 2+ hour sessions.Written January 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah GAshford, United Kingdom7 contributionsBrilliant class where we learnt lots of moves and really got stuck in. Also a brilliant work out which is great to overcome the travelling diet!! Instructor was amazing and well talented, clear teaching and didn't make you feel silly if you did anything wrong, adjusted well to our needs/skills. Highly recommend and can't wait to take it up when we're back home. Thank you! - Ichi_GohanBangkok, Thailand5 contributionsI trained with Master Jade both private and group class for about one year. I learnt the foundations of his technique including footwork, 7 fist form, stick technique and some kata. Jade's teaching is holistic in nature covering not just fighting but conditioning and philosophy of self defence and transcends on a deeper level than you'll find in sports martial arts. The school also offers Tai Chi and Qi Gong which I never tried but understand from others the teachers are also very good. - Liam B2 contributionsI trained here for three months while I was visiting SEA and I feel like my jiu jitsu improved big time. Along with that I had some of the best laughs and made some life long friends. This is a great gym for newcomers to the sport due to the friendly and patient atmosphere but also for higher ranked belts looking to refine their game. Bryan the head coach is thoughtful of every aspect concerning all of his students on the mat during training. Just go and you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to return myself. - rudedog881 contributionMy 15 year old son and I have been training here for a month. I'm 56. We both represent different needs in terms of skill development and in consideration of our ages being at the opposite ends of the spectrum.
Firstly we have had an awesome time. This gym supports a great atmosphere and in no time at all - we have felt like part of the family.
The training has been great. There are always plenty of trainers available on the floor for every class. Sparring is suitable for any skill level and I never felt once like my safety was compromised. This is especially important while training in a foreign country.
The head trainer has a high level of skill and does an awesome job of keeping things flowing, being the boss, being friendly and also pays attention to detail.
We are pretty close to finished our training for this trip. When we are back I know where we will be going.
Thanks Mike, Tong , Don, Faa and Dedo. We had a great time.

Guys at the gym were very friendly and tried to push me hard to improve my technic and stamina. I would recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight, get in better shape and practice muay thai and boxingWritten April 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - maiaUnited Kingdom8 contributionsI had an amazing workout doing the beginners muay thai session. It was great, they didn’t go easy on us at all and I loved it. - Earth MonkeyMiami Beach, FL2 contributionsI have attended 4 of Tara’s Learning to Listen Immersions which blends Feldenkrais ATM’s and Somatic Movement and I am coming back for a third. She is a class act and very knowledgeable. Never resting on her laurels, Tara is constantly updating and sculpting out the focus of her program. The environment is safe; always fresh and ready for play. If you are ready for some somatic exploration, Tara is an excellent guide.
I highly recommend her program and I look forward to the next.

His space outdoor is large and super convenient. Booking was easy and Dang super friendly and made the session interesting and challenging.
I had to leave ChiangMai earlier than planned otherwise I would have booked other sessions with him.
Strongly recommend him and his space.Written April 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
