Doing this with 8adventures was definitely a blast. The hosts and staff there were all so friendly and hospitable that it made every minute there worthwhile.

We did the whitewater rafting first, unfortunately, due to the heavy rainfall during this period, we had to miss one of section due to high water levels. However, that did not affect our experience at all! Our guide on the raft was extremely funny and friendly. Being our first time doing such an activity, we felt extremely safe with the other staff who were on kayaks constantly watching out for us. This activity is slightly strenuous simply due to the paddling, but I am sure it’s still extremely doable for everyone!

    5/5 - whitewater rafting

We then came back to have lunch cooked for us and I must say, the food was amazing! Being so hungry from all the hard work in the raft, the fried chicken together with clear Tom yum was extremely delicious.

    5/5 - lunch

After lunch, we had a break before we embarked on our ATV tour. The staff were extremely helpful in getting us geared up for the adventure and the explanation prior to the activity was very clear as well, we felt really well taken care of.

It was raining for our activity and raincoats were provided for us and you had the choice if you wanted to wear it or not.

Despite the rain, the ATV trail was fun with some moments that were challenging! Nothing dangerous I must say if anyone who is unsure. The trail definitely gets your adrenaline pumping! We had 2 breaks during the entire session where we were allowed to enjoy the sights and sound of the Chiang Mai forest.

Luckily for us, we got to see 2 cute elephants pass by us during our time there and I even managed to greet one of them.

    5/5 - ATV

Overall, I would definitely recommend this package to anyone seeking out some thrills and adrenaline!

Thank you so much 8adventures for making this experience such a memorable one of us and we would definitely come back and do it all over again!

This is probably going to stand out as a highlight of my trip although I’m still in Thailand!
Our guide was so knowledgeable and throughout the whole experience which begins with the cave (which is also a temple so ladies bring something suitable to wear, I didn’t but they give you something to cover up with thankfully) he pointed out different creatures living in the cave and all about the rock formations and the history, the fish there. Really really good!
    Lunch.
Kayaking next which you get a really good tutorial in before you go sailing off and I’d never kayaked before and I managed it no problem so you’re definitely in good hands.
    100% recommend this!

Had a really magical experience here thanks to friendly staff and happy elephants. You can tell the elephants are treated very well in this sanctuary. It was the perfect day trip from Chiang Mai.

Made reservation the afternoon before via email, they picked us up from the hotel in the morning and took us to the sanctuary. It’s a beautiful farm/garden area nestled in the mountains. They had three elephants, a baby, her mother, and grandmother. You can see their individual personalities and see that they are happy and well cared for.

After feeding them the morning, we went for a walk in the jungle, came back for a nice lunch, then helped the elephants with a mud bath and then cleaning in the river. Very memorable experience; surpassed all expectations. Many thanks to the kind and contentious owner and staff!

I loved the experience! I did lanna style and really loved being up close to the stage. Dancer and musicians did amazing. Live Music during dinner and then the show after. I will say I can’t eat a lot in one sitting so the amount of food they gave me was too much but there’s definitely nothing wrong with having to much food. I felt bad because i felt like i didn’t even eat anything when they took it away. They are really good a refilling your food, especially if you liked something more than the others. There was a family of 5 near me and they got two tables and people refilled there table when they wanted it. They were quick on service. They did have cocktails for anyone non-alcoholic. I used to be a cultural reformer myself so i really appreciated the performance at another level. I recommend it, it was a fun dinner and show thing to do. Even as a solo diner it was a fun and exciting for me and i got to go up and dance with them at the end. Please check it out if you are looking for culture dance experience.

It's an excellent customized tour if you plan to hit your own choice of attractions in one day from Chiang Mai to the Golden Triangle. An

We went to beautiful places and ate delicious local food. Our customized 4-destination itinerary to Chiang Rai was according to our preference.

It is much more at ease than booking a fixed itinerary tour and the price is cheaper too. We were provided with a spacious 7-seater, I could even lie down when I got a bit tired on the 3-hour journey back to Chiang Mai.

The private tour was very flexible. Wittaya was great as a patient driver and helped us plan our memorable tour before we arrived in Chiang Mai. Thank you my friend.

One of the most incredible experiences of my life. If you’re looking for something authentic and off the beaten path, this is it. You see the real Thai way of life, go for a hike, and learn about herbs and farming that is self sustaining and not damaging the local community. Jacks passion for this community makes the experience feel so beautiful. The drive up on the mountain was a little scary, but what an adventure.

The trip was absolutely fantastic. The guides have been super friendly. It was fantastic to be so close to the elephants. We had the impression that the elephants have been treated very nicely. The rafting and sticky waterfalls also clear recommendation. The lady from the broker is very happy forgot my shoes in the van. All in all, it was the best trip we had in Chiang Mai.

This was one of my highlights of a big trip to Thailand.

A small group of around 8-9 and lots of fascinating stops along the way, you get a real feel for the countryside, local sights & sounds as well as some street food along the way.

I hadn't rode a bike for best part of 30 years and managed this adventure, the heat is manageable with the breeze and the guide is never far away with bottles of water.

It is a long 42km ride though so some stamina is needed and a top tip - don't be over-tempted to hit the e-bike boost button too often or you'll end up with jelly legs on the last 20 mins of the ride with no power - no power on an ebike means no peddle assist and these bikes can't really be ridden without it as they weigh a ton!

    Highly recommended.

The sunrise trip to Doi Suthep and the other jungle temple was an extraordinary trip. The guide Tom was very well versed with the history and culture. And explained the history behind both the temples very well. This is a must do experience in Chiang Mai
