I’ve been to a few kickboxing stadiums and I can say this one is one of the better ones. It’s in a more interesting location. There’s no match fixing because money is made from tourists buying entry tickets. Even the quality of fighting is better, but understand that how hard the fighters fight depends on their circumstances. Farang fights are cool to watch but there may not always be one. There was also only one kid fight, the fewer the better. They’re not appropriate for tourist venues.

Went there with a friend and saw a couple of fabulous fights. Not a fight expert, I didn't understand the scoring completely in some of the fights, but overall it was a fun experience. A little out of the way but once you find it's a cool place to spend a couple of hours while in Chiang Mai.

Great place with almost every sport known to man-kind. (I do gymnastics there, in a state of the art facility). Most things are free. Mostly Thais, few Farangs. The place is fairly empty during the day, but busy in the mornings and early evenings. Sometimes they have very large football (soccer) events in the center stadium. Weightroom, pool, courts for all sorts of ball games, it's all there.
