Out of a two week post-grad trip around southeast Asia, this cooking class was one of the best things that my friends and I chose to do. Mama Noi is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely loved our head chef, Mai, who helped us rather inexperienced cooks create Thai masterpieces. We all made Thai tea to start, followed by three courses — a stir fry, an entree and a curry. Each participant could choose what they wanted to cook individually, with plenty of options for dietary restrictions. Everything was individualized, down to flavors and salt/spice levels. The result was one of the best meals we had in our entire two-week trip. And if we weren’t full enough, we all made mango sticky rice to finish the evening. A MUST do in Chiang Mai!!!
