Defo worth a visit, so many different food options. There are also carnival games and live music. We even went to a free show there.

Went to the market on the 8th of April, and it was amazing. I ate some delicious street food, including a bottle of fresh Sugarcane juice, and 'ice-cream toast'. There were hundreds of stalls selling anything from chess sets to jewelry, and huge food courts full of wonderful stalls. It gets very busy when it gets dark, and if you don't like big crowds, maybe you should skip this one. If you do decide to come, go closer to opening, as there are a lot less people.

It’s a small market and opens at night. I walked a bit here and there, bought some snacks and fruits and enjoyed the atmosphere. There are many things and you probably will find something you like.

As an expat here, I first visited Ploen Ruedee Night Market some years ago, before it closed down due to the COVID lockdowns. I was glad to see that it had opened again a few months ago but I hadn't had a chance to see what it was like now until last week. I can report that it's much the same as before in that there is a good selection of food and live music in an outdoor setting. Whether you fancy Thai food or Western, there's plenty to chose from. There is also a reasonable selection of beers and other drinks (soft and alcoholic) on sale in the market/

If you're looking for somewhere casual to eat in town or you just fancy a couple of beers in a pleasant outdoor setting in town, I can certainly recommend Ploen Ruedee night market. Good food, good location and good music all help to make it one of the nicest places in Chiang Mai to just chill out and have fun. It's quite different from most other places to eat in town.

I've noticed a few comments about the price of food and drinks in other reviews, which I find quite odd. This is a well-organised market / night-time destination with clean onsite bathrooms etc. so I am not sure why people are turning up and expecting to pay 7/11 prices for beer and street food vendor prices for food. I am guessing they don't eat out much by the sound of it!

The Anusan Market has evolved over the years, with the latest incarnation seeming to have gotten rid of most of the food and dried snack stalls and replaced them with paintings and other art. The middle sections are pretty much the same array of crafts and clothes as before. Personally, I always liked buying deep-fried pork skins and dried fruits at this market... now gone. The crafts run the range from mass-produced trash to some unique products. You may have to search a bit to find the good stuff, but hey, that's half the fun!

We went two times for dinner to this food street market. If you plan to come here to eat or for a snack you need to try the gyoza’s. They were the best ones we ever had :). There is a lady selling them on the right side of the market next to the street. She sells chicken , pork or veggies gyoza’s. We tried them all and they were all super tasty .

Covered ตลาด positioned around cinco minutes norte de Chiang Mai, where el suelo and las encimeras are unbroken tile making them very straightforward to clean and maintain. So great hygiene in a ตลาด which specialises in foodstuffs - mainly prepared items including แกง, stir fries and grilled dead တိရိစ္ဆာန်။
Very little ภาษาอังกฤษ labelling so you’ll need to be careful if you’re เจ/သက်သတ်လွတ်/vegano, since even a lot of the stir fries for instance have bits of dismembered animals ဟင်းသီဟင်းရွက်များအောက်မှာရှိတယ်။
One end of the covered mercado is devoted to fresh produce - ผัก y သစ်သီး - but in my experience their presence isn’t always as regular as the prepared foods vendedores. No hay asientos.

We arrived in Chiangmai on Sun and just in time for the Sunday walking street. The market starts from 5pm and there are so many stalls selling all kinds of f&b, souveniors and clothing etc. There are also some music performance and a parade near the 3 Kings monuments.
Slightly away from the street, there are many food stalls. U can buy and sit in the tables.

A good non touristy local market. Sai ooa (spicy sausage in spirals) rather lovely. Food, fruit and other oddments. A man optimistically selling large pictures. Atmosphere.

A great place to taste a lot of different things! Fruit shakes, fresh coconut, local dishes, grilled meat. There is a smell of food everywhere and you can sit at small tables and relax and enjoy your food. Much traffic around. Very busy area.

Similar to the Ploen Ruedee night market, this is another market that has a strong touristic feel to it. First of all, a lot of information is provided in English, so that already takes away from its authenticity. Second of all, this is where lots of cooking classes bring the aspiring cooks for market shopping, thus making it very crowded in the morning time and early afternoon time.
Nevertheless it is not a bad place at all to try out some (semi-?)local flavors and shop local ingredients!
Pro tip: if you want to experience the truly local way of doing things, then there are some morning markets that open at 3AM. Don’t know the names unfortunately, but ask around accordingly.

Brilliant night market from 5pm to 11pm offering all sorts of food to mainly Thai but visitors too. Lovely atmosphere with gentle music in the background and calm chatter surrounding. A highlight is the amazing Thai massage you can get after you've eaten. They may be small but they have mighty sharp elbows, worth every Baht though.

I was amazed at the amount of fresh produce available at this market, among other things. One booth had all manner of cooking oils and spices, and another had LIVE fish! Something I noticed was that they would bundle together several common ingredients with a rubber band, making shopping for a typical Thai recipe so easy! Example: lemongrass, ginger, and a tiny lime. There are many fruits and vegetables there that I have never seen in the U.S., so this was quite a treat. I like to see how locals shop and plan meals in other countries; this is an important piece of the cultural experience.

Think Park is designed for tourists who like to shop for clothes, jewelry and other goods without the night market feel. The shops are small but offer good finds! I particularly liked the way Think Park is designed, making it easy to navigate the little pathways.
