- Roberto CSantiago, Chile177 contributionsIt’s good but nothing so special. Many places where to eat in a casual street way. - jbg74Saint Paul, MN1,197 contributionsThis is as much or more a local market as it is a tourist market. The three story building in the middle of the market is full of produce, meat, and other items for locals to buy. There are plenty of stalls in the streets surrounding the building containing everything from gold to souvenirs. If you have never been to an Asian market this one will definitely feel exotic to you.Written January 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PDSGhent, Belgium768 contributionsWhat a great place with every day four different cover bands from 7PM till 11PM One os better than the other but it´s the general atmosphere with the food trucks from spareribs to sushi to... everything you would expect in Northern Thailand.Written November 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dr M SteelLondon, UK40 contributionsWe loved Anusarn Night Market in Chiang Mai so much that we went every night during our stay! This market, right in the heart of the Night Bazaar area, truly has it all. From clothing and souvenirs to handmade crafts and jewellery, you can find just about anything you’re looking for, and the prices are fantastic and very affordable.
The variety of food options is impressive—you can try something new every night, with everything from local Thai dishes to international treats. One note is that there’s a small fee for the toilet, so keep some change handy. The market closes around 11 pm, which gives you plenty of time to explore without rushing. And thankfully, the market is undercover, which was a lifesaver on those stormy days we had.
Overall, Anusarn Night Market is vibrant, affordable, and an essential stop in Chiang Mai!Written November 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For the food, we really really liked the freshly steamed filled rice rolls (in Singapore/Malaysian we call them chee cheong fun) and man! these were super delicious. They come in 8 different flavors and guess what? It’s 8 to a portion so if you can’t decide what to have, just have one of each!!!
The mango sticky rice was one of the better ones we had too. The glutinous rice was cooked to a light and fluffy texture. Perfect!!!
Besides the food, the mall was the perfect excuse to hide away from the afternoon sun. My friend got a massage, I raided the supermarket looking for local snacks and had a nosey around the mall for local Thai brands.
Good for passing away 2-3 hours. Have fun.Written September 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are many shops that sell products, range from big wooden furniture to stylistic wooden vase and crafts. If you are the one who love decorating your home, you will love this place. I visit this place many times but still love to be there if I have time. Reasonable price. Some products are the same as the ones you find in the night market of CM but I like to buy directly from the producers. It may be a bit in-convenient to travel there if you don't have a car.Written March 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DdsKuala Lumpur, Malaysia335 contributionsIt is one of the highlights when in Chiang Mai. Hundreds of stalls along the street both left and right, selling a variety of things like clothes, jerseys, shoes, souvenirs, shoes, slippers, soap etc, many selling the same things, so its up to your bargaining skills. Then there are many cafes, restaurants, open air street food locations in between your walks which is a must to try as Thai food is great! Thai massage shops are everywhere, some pricy, some cheap. It is a pity that toilets along these places are generally not well maintained.Written January 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mostoHong Kong, China4,336 contributionsThis is a pretty good size shopping mall in a town like Chiangmai. It has a few floors with a cinema and a floor for restaurants. Other shops are mainly clothes, souvenirs, luggage, sportswear. We just walked around and I managed to buy something for myself. It’s not crowded on a weekday.Written December 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- pingpingjoKuala Lumpur, Malaysia138 contributionsThis is one of Chiangmai’s must-visit weekend markets where the goods sold are more interesting than the overly done Chiangmai night bazaar. Most are handmade or homegrown.Written November 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James INew York City, NY573 contributionsExcellent place to walk around if looking to sample lots of different street foods for a very low price. Be sure to get a fresh smoothie for practically nothing, and stop at the man selling the plates of pork, rice and vegetables. A filling lunch for just a couple dollars.Written March 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DdsKuala Lumpur, Malaysia335 contributionsUnlike the usual touristy clothes and stuff sold at the night markets, the stuff sold at this market are rather upscale, unique, pricy too.
