Really cool outdoor bar, they have seating around the place and you can order food. Bring cash! The drinks were great and pretty strong. I recommend getting a bucket, it’s great for 2-3 people to share. It wasn’t much EDM music…it was more of like hip hop remixes? But the vibe overall was great. They have restrooms across the bar…bring change as you have to pay like 10 bhat per person every time you need to go. Servers and bartenders were super friendly! 10/10

For anyone accustomed to the blues and all of its western traditions, this place will not disappoint.

The sky deck is a neat feature, nestled away in the height of the night bazaar itself. So it is a little easy to miss if this destination isn't on your radar.

The seating is minimal, and packs up quite quickly during an event. The musicians are top notch in their on regard, and on occasion they will have a jam night, with sign up sheets if you wish to go partake.

No cover charge to my knowledge and hosts a ton of bands, blues, rock, jazz etc from the area. Definitely worth the trek if you're in the mood for a good drink and great music.

We did not go to Chiang Mai intending to see a cabaret show, but we saw performers in the night markets advertising for them. We went to the other cabaret show earlier in the week before we discovered this one. Having had a wonderfully entertaining evening with the first show, we decided to cap our week with this show on our last night. There were differences between this show and the other one, and if enjoy a fun night of music and dance, I would recommend seeing both shows. I assume that the performers are mostly male dressed in drag, though I could not absolutely rule out the possibility that there were women on stage as well. It does not take long before you really don’t care and just enjoy the performance.

This show started at 9:30 PM and lasted a full two hours (the other show lasts one hour and twenty minutes and the first five minutes of that show is mostly advertisement with contact info displayed on stage) with a short fifteen minute intermission, though they did not even have to term it an intermission as the performers continued to dance and entertain during that time. There is no cover charge (the competing show sells tickets for 390 BHT for a regular ticket and 500 BHT for VIP ticket with reserved seating) though the entry stipulates a two drink minimum per customer. However, we only ordered one drink each and they did not enforce the second drink. Also, the drinks did not have to be alcoholic and could be as low as 100 BHT.

This venue was smaller than the other one, but the performers use the entire venue, including walking up and down between tables and using the bar to dance on, so it did not feel as if the show as constrained. There were fewer performers at this show than the other one, and the other show’s performances may have felt a bit more polished overall. So far as I can tell, none of them actually sing in either show and it’s all entirely lip synced. I don’t get the sense that any of them speak English either, as the emcee performer was nearly impossible to understand, though very enthusiastic. This show was more creative with its use of the bar and flames. One caution is that this show used a great deal of strobe lights, particularly at the beginning of the show, and anyone with sensitivity or seizures should take precautions. There was no restroom in the venue, even with a paid ticket, and you will have to use an outside restroom which has a 5 BHT machine entry. However, there was also a nearby bar with a friendly attendant who came to help me carrying a 5 BHT coin in her hand. She kindly donated her 5 BHT coin to another woman and me, and stuffed us both through the turnstile simultaneously!

Both shows end with the performers carrying a tip box through the audience requesting donations. Both will also enthusiastically take photos with anyone who wants it, and I felt the performers at this show were a little less mercenary about asking about being tipped per photo. Also, while the performers do interact with the audience members at both shows, at this show it was more voluntary and they did not actually fondle the audience or insist on bringing them on stage (though they did permit audience members who wanted to dance come up front).

Between the two shows, I can’t say that one was better than the other. Both are kind of hidden away at the back of a market and hard to find. This one was hidden at the back of an almost empty market, such that we were not confident a venue was back there. This show was 1) longer, 2) had no mandated cover charge other than the 1-2 drink minimum, and 3) had a smaller, more intimate feel with less focus on mandated tipping. It was also entirely indoors and therefore fewer mosquitoes. The other show might have marginally more polished and had more performers. If you have time to do both, I’d recommend it.

This bar is a little hole in the wall of a place and it is fantastic. It is in a cute neighbourhood down one of the small alleys in the old city in Chiang Mai. They make a nearly perfect Mojito. The music is good and the streets are active with people who live in the area. Skip the fancy rooftop cocktail lounges as they can't mix a drink most of the time. This is the real Chiang Mai watering hole.

Found CU Corner and stopped in for a drink and to play a guitar on the wall. The waitress quickly set me up with a mic and all of a sudden I was performing for everyone. I was joined shortly by some local ex-pats and we had a great night playing together. Never expected to connect with so many locals that night, so we were back for another night. My girlfriend and I will always remember our nights here!

Amazing place, the best we had in Chiang Mai. We enjoyed it so much the first night on 16 Apr 2019, Wed, and we must come back. This place is very comfortable and relax, so glad we went as it was one of the highlights of our trip. Really excellent! This lounge serves different whisky of a really high quality. A great assortment of wines, so this is a great place to spend an evening! Chat and Relax. Even you don’t drink whisky, you are welcome to visit and have some snacks and soft drinks.

Accidently ran into this bar while checking out the Muay Thai ring. Really friendly staff, well priced drinks and the fact that I saved 400 baht by settling at the bar before 8:00 pm was a bonus.

Nice food here next to kids amusements and play area. Our food came quite speedy. Nice interaction from staff. Very good for fast food. Don't get me wrong this is not healthy fresh by any means. It is what It is.

THIS bar is set on Chiang Mai's Loi Kroh Road in a no frills setting at the heart of the night action.
Beyond doubt single men will be the focus for staff, but we still got a very warm welcome as a couple and we also saw families with children in there.
The format is a tried and trusted one with a simple bar, rustic seating with the front of the bar open to the street. Fans keep customers cool.
We walked in and sat down to a chorus of "Welcome!" from staff and it took about five seconds for them to take our order.
Then we just sat and chatted and people watched, entertained by the steady stream of people passing up and down the road just a few minutes walk from the Boxing Stadium with its complex of bars.
This was a friendly simple bar, no pressure, no hassle and very safe with good prices for beer and other drinks. Toilets were simple but adequate.
We actually came back a couple more times and the friendly welcome was always there. Well worth giving this bar a try to start your evening off.
