If you somewhat like snakes or animals then you will enjoy this. For about 5 USD you get in to the snake farm and get to see a ton of snake exhibits both indoor and outdoor. Definitely recommend the show where they bring out a bunch of different snakes for you to see and then you get to hold a snake. They also sell drinks and snacks.

We attended a Thursday night event with our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, and all of us were entertained and in awe of the skill, respect for each fighter, and the formal ceremony of each fight. The stands were a mix of tourists and locals - and the locals were so much more interesting to watch with their betting, cheering and engagement. We had club seats and got hot dogs, fries, popcorn and drinks served to us- all good! The stadium was air conditioned so very comfortable even though outside was over 30 degrees. We bought our tickets online via the stadium website and it was very easy to navigate the entrance, security etc. It was a super fun night that allows tourists like us to experience the incredible talent and respect for this sport.

It is a very good place to start of with Muay Thai training. It provides very good technical training while building up your body. The trainers are looking after you and are trying to teach the things your are not that good at. It is as intense as Muay Thai training should be and the trainers are pushing you exactly the right amount. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anybody who wants to start or wants to improve their technique. If you want to train for your first fight it is also one of the best places you can go to.

The only thing that might be problematic is that except the trainers very few of the locals around can speak English.

Overall it was a very good experience.

A must do visit while in Bangkok. We visited just a couple of bars. Prices for the drinks were ok. In one of the bars we visited they also had a life band which was pretty good.

Incredible to watch fights in person. Paid for VIP ring side, which as first timers was well worth it. Only negative was that the drinks were not available due to covid restrictions.

Went to watch on Saturday morning 10am -12pm. Can confirm no dress code for that time slot although read mixed messages online. Booked through Klook which worked a dream!

Love to travel on the khlongs when in Bangkok - a real experience to travel like local away from the more touristy parts. Great access to the Golden Mount. An experience to be recommended.

Many interesting rides to enjoy, very thrilling fit for young adults. Recommend going on weekdays if you want to have less queuing time for the rides.

Now this is a unique way to really get around Bangkok. Best described as being dirty and dangerous... but also handy, vibrant and exhilarating.

There are two options, the klorng boats, which run from 5:30am to 10:30pm, with ticket prices around 8B to 20B. These hold about 40-50 passengers, have dubious safety equipment, unreliable timetables but zoom down the canal at breakneck speeds. Whilst they have plastic tarpaulins you are fairly low to the water and always face the possibility of getting wet from the spray.

The other alternative is the tourist hop on/hop off boats which run from Pratunam (bear the Central World Plaza) and Panfa Leelard, just behind the Mahakan Fort, at Phanfa Bridge. These are more expensive, but cheaper and quicker than a taxi, they give you the same experience as the local klorng boats but at a more leisurely and safer speed. Can purchase a one-way or all-day ticket.

If you are looking to experience water everywhere, loud music and loads of festivities for free then head over to Silom and walk down the street. You can veer off into side streets to find quieter spaces and loads of restaurants and bars celebrating. Won't go again, but worth seeing it.

I went for a 1-month Muay Thai training camp. The trainers helped me find my first fight, and it was clear how experienced they were as they knew exactly how hard to push and what I needed to do to get into fighting shape. You can see how long the trainers have known each other as they’re often laughing and having fun between rounds. There’s a real sense of community which I felt welcomed into and it motivated me to see all the trainers come to support us during the fight.

The apartment was just a few minutes walk from the gym. It’s private and comfortable and a 2 minute bike taxi to the BTS.

The quality and variety at the cafe made me forget I was at a vegan place, with burgers, protein shakes, and awesome ‘sausage’ wraps, there was plenty of choice to keep myself healthy through training. The staff are also really welcoming and make you feel at home.

If you are a climber this place is a must to visit. Lots of route options, Bouldering choices too. There is a caffetiria beside so if you need anything to eat or drink no need to go further. Good environment. Locker & shower s free. They also have little climbing gear if you need anything.
