- AlmonadeBangkok, Thailand5 contributionsI had an amazing day exploring this QSMI Snake Farm. There are so many different kinds of snakes here. The information for each type is written clearly in both Thai and available in English for foreigners. There are 2 parts of the farm. The first part is located inside the building. The first floor presents snakes mostly from the rainforest in cabinets or cases. The upper floor shows the anatomy of snakes and medical details. Locating outside, the second part shows many other types of snakes and is the area for the snake shows. Snake shows are available 2 rounds a day in this COVID-19 period; one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The staffs present the shows in both Thai and English and explain all the information very clearly. You can even ask questions.
There are a few small details I want them to improve. The first one is that the second floor of the building that demonstrates medical information about snakes doesn't have a very nice smell. The second is to include more information or fun facts about each snake in the signs because I got some fun information, which I would love them to add these things more to the sign, from my friend whom I went with. Lastly, some equipment which is broken and unavailable to use should be fixed.Written October 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - József OWorld3 contributionsSo good. - Erick TsengSan Francisco, CA486 contributionsA much lower quality version of Disneyland. The water park is actually quite nice with some really nice water slides and the world's biggest wave pool. However, the majority of the amusement park rides are outdated and pretty janky. They do have a couple newer roller coasters that are pretty legit.Written December 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JoAnna B61 contributionsThis was awesome! Watching the fight was free which is awesome. The "standing" section is metal bleachers, you can sit but once the action starts everyone is on their feet. It was a neat experience to watch the matches but also to be among the locals betting on each match.
There is a dress code in effect, no short, and collared shirts. They have vendors selling/renting outside the stadium if you're not prepared (unsure of the cost tho as we were dressed appropriately).
We arrived an hour early and it was already pretty full, so make sure to get there early!

I enjoy the music, drinks and the entertainment and although I know it's over priced as a bar atmosphere, it does have other charms that I feel make it worth the visit. As most of us long-term customers know, you have to be careful in these areas to avoid the tourist scams. Most bars and staff are very kind and honest and are just trying to make a living like the rest of us. There are some bars which choose to overlook these scams by staff members and others that strongly discourage them. For Cowboy I recommend Doll House as one of the safest, best, most entertaining and enjoyable experiences there. The staff is top notch and I have never had an issue with scams there. The opposite side of the spectrum would be one of the new bars Kazy Kozy which seems to have consistent "mistakes" on your bill. During my three visits there I checked my bill before and after every drink order and found drinks that I hadn't ordered almost every time. Maybe there is a problem with their POS system? lol I would suggest you avoid Kazy Kozy and stick to the more established bars that know how to take care of their customers. My Top 3: Doll House, Country Road, Lighthouse. Never had a bad experience at these threeWritten October 31, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LucianoSao Paulo, SP2 contributionsI came all the way from Brazil to train at Yokkao and was amazed not only with the training, but also with Neri from the staff who went well above and beyond the call of duty to help me find my way back to my hotel and to teach me how to use the Bangkok subway system since it was my first time in Bangkok. Nat was also a major player in this winning team and helped book the private training before I left Brazil. And, off course, @petchmankong for the perfect training session. Yokkao was customer service at its very best level. I was not disappointed after flying more than 16.000 km for a training session. Thank you, Yokkao team. Thanks for the rescue, Neri !Written February 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ed DSwansea, UK508 contributionsLove to travel on the khlongs when in Bangkok - a real experience to travel like local away from the more touristy parts. Great access to the Golden Mount. An experience to be recommended.Written February 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Caiti FBangkok, Thailand25 contributionsIf you are looking to experience water everywhere, loud music and loads of festivities for free then head over to Silom and walk down the street. You can veer off into side streets to find quieter spaces and loads of restaurants and bars celebrating. Won't go again, but worth seeing it.Written July 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Paul EMelbourne, Australia90 contributionsWe were in Thailand for a 500 klm in 5 days charity push bike ride to raise $$ for the kids in the Hands Across the Water orphanages. Before we got going we ( as a large group) went to Khao San Rd and let loose. - THE BEST FUN I have had in many years and not one person got angry ( which would end in a fight in most other countries)Written June 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dingo_6152Fremantle, Australia1,798 contributionsNow this is a unique way to really get around Bangkok. Best described as being dirty and dangerous... but also handy, vibrant and exhilarating.
There are two options, the klorng boats, which run from 5:30am to 10:30pm, with ticket prices around 8B to 20B. These hold about 40-50 passengers, have dubious safety equipment, unreliable timetables but zoom down the canal at breakneck speeds. Whilst they have plastic tarpaulins you are fairly low to the water and always face the possibility of getting wet from the spray.
The other alternative is the tourist hop on/hop off boats which run from Pratunam (bear the Central World Plaza) and Panfa Leelard, just behind the Mahakan Fort, at Phanfa Bridge. These are more expensive, but cheaper and quicker than a taxi, they give you the same experience as the local klorng boats but at a more leisurely and safer speed. Can purchase a one-way or all-day ticket.Written October 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Kristian BKvernevick, Norway1 contributionI had a wonderful session with a young and skilled coach here. I was tired after a long journey, but the coach managed to motivate me to give everything. He showed me fine techniques, footwork and combinations. The session was also varied and included strength and fitness😊👍🏻Written January 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- bcg41Lakewood, OH2 contributionsI just got back from my food tour of Bangkok. What an amazing experience. So glad that I took advantage of this opportunity. My tour guide “J” was so enthusiastic and made the food adventure a blast. But this is so much more than just food. Got to experience parts of Bangkok I would have had no idea about. Thanks to “J” and Michael for organizing. What value for 10 hours of food exploration!Written May 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
