3 stars are for Dui, who was really knowledgeable and great with photo-taking. Personally though, I was disappointed by the markets and felt the long journey there wasn’t worth it. As it’s quiet at the moment, stall holders were really pushy and all sold almost exactly the same tourist-y stuff- We were hoping for a more local experience which we unfortunately didn’t get. I’d also like to add a disclaimer for tourists who seek out more ethical trips as this is something we wish we knew in advance: we found it quite distressing seeing so many animals used as photo props, such as snakes which seemed at the very least to have been de-fanged and were repeatedly trying to escape, as well as slow loris’ which were basically catatonic and being kept awake during the day (they’re nocturnal animals!! And a protected species!). Ultimately, while Dui was a really good guide, I’d opt for a different tour with him knowing what I know now.

Am, our guide, was extraordinary. Knew the city like the back of his hand, guided us safely, provided history and little known facts, showed us gems within the city. Super cool way to explore Bangkok. Traveled through neighborhoods and experienced street art, food, shops, cafes, people, parks and history. The best Bangkok experience of all which is saying a lot!

This tour was really incredible. I got to see a part of Bangkok that I would not have even thought to have gone to and had some really great experiences. Between the biking and kayaking, this tour is great value for all of the activities that you are able to do.

My Daughter and I had a great day with our guide Sean. Learned about Thailand’s history on the ride to the park. Really enjoyed the Thai cooking class and the food was fantastic! The waterfall was cool and the trek was good as well. Traffic in Bangkok is tough, so the WiFi in the car was welcomed. Thanks Sean!
