Excellent price at 496 return. Good careful driver and decent air-con. Seats are OK but get a bit uncomfy after a while. 6+ hours each way and used to a small extent as a "local" bus with some stops and a call in at Chantaburi and Suvarnabhumi. Stops etc add about an hour to the drive, so OK if you are not ina rush. Delivered directly to Laem Gnob pier which is the further away pier from Whitesand one and with a longer ferry crossing (+ 15mins). Not much at either Laem Gnob or at the other end.

Okay so let me say the negatives first and then I’ll explain. We did an overnight midnight transfer to Koh Chang. First off, finding this place was a real son of beach. We booked on 12go which might be the reason the instructions on where to meet were confusing. After we found the office we sat down at the bar next door called Bombay blues and the hour search for this place didn’t even matter anymore.. Second, the day before we were about the get on the van I decided to finally read the reviews of this place and I was terrified. They all were negative and I could see why but not what you think. They all said that the drivers were rough which really scared me because I’m the total back seat driver control freak. But if you pay attention to how they drive in Thailand you understand that they’re not driving wild it’s probably just a little different than what you’re used to in your home country. Also, the roads to Koh Chang were very rough. Went from bumpy high way to dirt road back to bumpy highway. The plus side of it all was popping some Benadryl and not paying for a nights accommodation. It’s a rough transfer in a tiny van but it’s pretty cheap to take you all the way across the country while you sleep 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is a specialised bus terminal just for Nakhonchai Air buses which mainly travel between Bangkok and northern cities such as Chiang Mai. Certain sections have air-conditioning.

The nearest BTS is Mo Chit station and you can take either bus #3 or #77 to go there.

Inside the bus terminal, there are several inexpensive food stalls and 711 shop. The seats inside the bus terminal are comfortable and you can get free 1 hour wifi.

What's the difference between this and Mo Chit bus terminal? Mo Chit bus terminal handles all bus companies and is very crowded.

Cheapest option but you get what you pay for.

    - cramped and uncomfortable night bus which has clearly never been maintained or replaced
    - leaking AC with drips of freezing cold water during the journey
    - foul toilet smell throughout bus
    - not particularly welcoming or helpful service

    - ferry slow and old (arrived 1 hour after scheduled arrival with no explanation)

Avoid them at all cost! Terrible service. I'm going to Phaya Thai BTS and was told there was only one stop Khao San Road on the way. But actually they went around the whole Bangkok and delivered other guests in Silom, Sathorn and many other area. I have spent 30mins waiting and 2 hours travelling but it still didn't arrive Phaya Thai! The driver denied to explain and the customer service just asked me to wait. Old bus terrible smell and dirty environment. Nothing good at all!!!
