The connection is very good and there is a lot of frequency and you don't have to wait long. Train is very clean and efficient.

The bus terminal is huge and is messy. Need to walk a lot to go to the main entrance. Waiting for them to move to Bang Sue station.

Great journey on the night train from BKK to Padang Besar where we crossed the border. We bought the tickets directy at the train station the same day, got 1 lower and upper berth which was 1800 THB for the 2 of us. Boarded the17 hour long train which departed on time and almost arrived on time at the thai-malay border. We had ordered dinner from the steward that came shortly after boarding ( curry /rice set menus for about 120 THB each), but at nearly every stops, you have locals getting on board with snacks and food for way cheaper. We were served dinnet at the time requested ( 7pm or 8pm) , then got our beds made by the same steward. We could fit 2 people on the lower berth, and it was very quiet all night. Great trip and way cheaper than flying !

Hard to find the sign for Van/Bus. I have online ticket that i bought at 12goasia.com (Van), when i ask to some of the staff, they didn't see my print out ticket and direct me to bus platforms. another staff see our ticket and tell us where is my platforms but hard to find the sign that show the van platforms. Thankful another staff lead us the way to our platforms.

The platforms for van are in the first floor.
For Bus in the second floor.
its a huge area like a mall, many stores and 7 eleven too.

The BRT is kinda like a bus/metro hybrid. It's a bus with a fixed schedule that runs in dedicated lanes so very little traffic delay.

Tickets are a flat 15 baht fee regardless of distance. There are ticket machines and customer service booth. They have clean waiting areas and English/Thai information displays.

It's really easy to use. Connects to Chong Nonsi BTS and Talat Phlu BTS.

It can get crowded and busy but everyone respects the space and nobody pushes (unlike in China)

Very impressive system. 6am-11.40pm. Runs every 10-20 mins depending on day/time

Excellent price at 496 return. Good careful driver and decent air-con. Seats are OK but get a bit uncomfy after a while. 6+ hours each way and used to a small extent as a "local" bus with some stops and a call in at Chantaburi and Suvarnabhumi. Stops etc add about an hour to the drive, so OK if you are not ina rush. Delivered directly to Laem Gnob pier which is the further away pier from Whitesand one and with a longer ferry crossing (+ 15mins). Not much at either Laem Gnob or at the other end.

This is a specialised bus terminal just for Nakhonchai Air buses which mainly travel between Bangkok and northern cities such as Chiang Mai. Certain sections have air-conditioning.

The nearest BTS is Mo Chit station and you can take either bus #3 or #77 to go there.

Inside the bus terminal, there are several inexpensive food stalls and 711 shop. The seats inside the bus terminal are comfortable and you can get free 1 hour wifi.

What's the difference between this and Mo Chit bus terminal? Mo Chit bus terminal handles all bus companies and is very crowded.
