Last day before leaving and we hadn’t done Wat Pho yet. A quick visit primarily focussed on the reclining Buddha. That in itself totally makes the visit worthwhile. The size is beyond believe. The rest of Wat Pho looks very nice as well.

A must see in Bangkok . Not too far away from city . Its about 30mins drive. Avoid visiting during noon the heat is unbearable. They have phototaking service which I don’t quite like it because the photos was not fantastic. The ones I took using my iPhone was much better. Be prepared to climb steep steps and go to the top for better view .

It was really busy when we went there. It’s King’s birthday celebration week. Some road closures and areas within the Grand Palace were also closed in preparation of the ceremony that evening.

Unique building and construction to showcase Thailand iconic carvings and religious symbolic statues.

I visited this place and noticed that it attracts more tourists than locals, despite the fascinating story of the house and the fame of Thai silk-making. Inside are different sections, including a guided tour of the place in foreign languages (English, Chinese, and Japanese), a cafe, a brand shop, and a renovated restaurant. The admission fee is only 200 baht, and the tour lasts 45 minutes.

The atmosphere at Jim's in Thompson felt shady as if it's not in Bangkok. The food and drinks at the cafe were alright, but I found the prices a bit high for the portion sizes. On a positive note, there's a rotating exhibition on the second floor of the brand store, and it's free to view.

Nice view at the top with friend go there when tge full moon day. There are beautiful warter falls, plants and bell all around. At the end you can add a golden leaf to the tree and write o it with your wish. And then it is near China town, public transportation and also Grand place so that you can combine your trip. We also took pictures of golden bell, nice view and good sunset of above.

Easily accessible now via MRT to Wat Mangkon station Exit 1. Come with an empty stomach and try the many different street food here from fried dough sticks to moo ping (grilled meat on skewers) to braised duck noodles and more. There are also lots of shops selling dried goods and snacks where you can grab some souvenirs while you are there.

Had problem finding public toilets though so we had to go into one of the shops, ordered some desserts just so we could use their toilet.

It is what it is! A pumping, busy, loud, somewhat tacky, tourist street in Bangkok. During the day it’s just a normal street. At night it’s crowded, so busy and loud but fun. You go there knowing what it is. You don’t go there thinking you will have a nice dinner or some culture. At night it’s cheap drinks, laughing gas in balloons, street food, popcorn, many tourists, many Thai’s, pumping music and people trying to get you to go to their bar with their drinks special. Go and experience it. It’s worth a visit and a drink or two

Positioned at the corner of a major intersection with foreigners and locals passing each day. Just a stone throw away from Grand Hyatt Erawan and Central World. The shrine is lit most days and it’s customary to see golden elephants, orange flower arrangements, praying and dancing. I believe they sell birds as well. Absolutely gorgeous!

Huge beautiful serene calming. Hardly any crowd except locals and some Asian tourists. Entry was only 100 baht or so. They tried to get me to rent a sarong but my dress covered my knees (although not my ankles) and they let me in without a sarong. Went in June so super hot but nice little ice cream store on the premises, I think they had something to eat as well. Must visit marble temple. Try to go in the morning when they open.

We attended a Thursday night event with our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, and all of us were entertained and in awe of the skill, respect for each fighter, and the formal ceremony of each fight. The stands were a mix of tourists and locals - and the locals were so much more interesting to watch with their betting, cheering and engagement. We had club seats and got hot dogs, fries, popcorn and drinks served to us- all good! The stadium was air conditioned so very comfortable even though outside was over 30 degrees. We bought our tickets online via the stadium website and it was very easy to navigate the entrance, security etc. It was a super fun night that allows tourists like us to experience the incredible talent and respect for this sport.

What a cool experience in Bangkok!

I booked tickets online which was easy and convenient.

When I arrived to the tower, there were staff there ready to direct me to the elevators to the top.

When you go through the gate, there will be people ready to take your photo on a green screen. My ticket included the digital version of the photos, so show them your ticket and they will let you know. If so, at the end of your visit you will get a QR code where you can download your photos to your phone or laptop. The green screen puts you at the top of the building and on the skywalk without being surrounded by people.

You then queue up for the elevator to the top. The elevator is quick and provides a cool show as every wall is a screen.

When you get to the top, you will enter the first part of the experience which is an air conditioned 360 view of the city. You will then find the queue for the elevator to the 78th level which is the rooftop view. (If you do not want to wait for the elevator as the line can get long, you can take the stairs to the right of the elevator and skip the line).

Once you arrive to the top, there is a bar that sells drinks and snacks for your visit. Walk past that and you will be on the rooftop surrounded by glass walls giving you amazing views of the city (especially if you go in the evening like I did). I went directly to the skywalk though. You will need to leave your shoes and bag on shelves provided as nothing is allowed on the skywalk. They do provide bags to place over feet while you walk on the glass. WHICH YOU SHOULD DO! It is terrifying yet fun once you get on it to look down and feel like you are standing in air. It definitely adds a lot of fun and excitement to the experience.

It will be crowded on the rooftop though, so do be ready to be surrounded by a lot of people.

Once you are done, you take the same elevator back down to the ground floor (this is where you will get the QR code for your pictures).

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to get a cool and fantastic view of the city of Bangkok. The rooftop provides amazing views of the city and if you want to stay in the AC there is a 360 view a few floors down. I enjoyed the experience and will be recommending it to my friends if they plan to visit Bangkok in the future.

Pro Tip: Purchase the tickets online and you can go straight to the elevator line and skip the ticket counter line.
