He catered to our every need and we had a comfortable transit there and back. The highlight was easily the elephants! Will never forget. - Sanga Y2 contributionsWe had an amazing time. Krit was a fantastic tour guide, took lots of photos of us, so calm and easy going. He also let us change direction at any time to try other stuff or look at other things. Very helpful and informative. He was also very funny and down to earth. Very easy to be around. Didn’t make the trip about him or try to sell us on anything which some tour guides do.
We started the day by learning how to fold a lotus, we toured the flower and fruit markets, went to the grand palace and many temples. We got to offer the lotus at a temple. We fed fishes in a canal, recommended the best mango smoothie we’ve ever gotten, and did I mention pictures? Tons of pictures! Thank you so much for a fantastic time Krit! We saw all that Ayutthaya has to offer and learnt so much about the history and significance of the place. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Ayutthaya in the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle with plenty of ice cold water and cooling towels. We wanted to get the whole Bangkok experience and this is what Imm did for us. Even though we had to all endure 35 degree temperature all day, Imm made it slightly easier with drink stops and tuk tuk rides to minimise the walking in the heat, which our teenage children were finding very difficult.
Imm has lovely happy personality and a great love to teach and spread her love her country. Her knowledge was amazing and would definitely recommend Imm to guild them through Bangkok anytime. Lin was fun and full of energy, and Kevin was a highly professional driver. The van was clean and comfortable van. First stop was taking us to ride on a local train, which traveled through the countryside outside of Bankok to a train market. A highly unique experience where dozens of venders line the tracks of an intimate train station, so intimate that the vendors need to move their goods away from the track when the train rolls in. Lin documented our experience with photos and videos, capturing our arrival to the market as we held our hands outside the train, high-fiving the shoppers and vendors. Lin also orchestrated a photo shoot, snapping pictures of us as we climbed the front of the train after arrival. At the market, I found a pair of Thai pants and my wife picked up some packages of dried mango to take home.
Next, we drove to a coconut farm, a traditional and authentic venue. Lin thoughtfully guided us through the farm, telling us all about the products made from coconuts and giving us an opportunity to stir the coconut sugar along with the owner. This was a real farm making real product, and we experienced it up close and personal, and Lin was her informative and entertaining self.
Lastly, we went to floating market, essentially a boat ride through a series of canals lined with vendors of all types. Unique and interesting.
I highly suggest taking this tour, and would strongly recommend requesting guide Lin and driver Kevin. Again, Lin was highly entertaining and knowledgeable. - Sean G1 contributionA memorable day trip. Erawan National Park and waterfalls were especially beautiful. Our guide, Daranee, went above and beyond to accommodate our interests. She even arranged a gluten free lunch at a restaurant near the waterfalls and our bus driver had an ice bin full of water bottles, welcome after walks to the waterfalls and Hellfire Pass. - Joanne G2 contributionsMy husband and I did a private tour with Time (incredible tour guide) and V (awesome driver) to the Railway Market , the floating market and Ayuhatha. The tour was top notch from beginning to end. Time and V took such great care of us, providing incredible details about the places we went, in depth knowledge and some of the best Thai food we have ever eaten! They made sure we had cold water,cold towels and were comfortable at all times. - KatjaK82Munich, Germany21 contributionsPositive: We had a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who was able to answer all our questions which helped us learn more about Thai food and culture.
Negative: The tour was promoted as a half-day activity from 8 am to 1 pm, but ended after 3 hours already. We were brought to a market a 40 mins drive outside of Bangkok. The market itself is not a floating market apart from maybe 3 boats with a few items to sell on them. There we hopped on a boat that drove us through some canals where there was basically nothing to see. We were wondering the whole time when we would arrive at the floating market, but when we returned to the static market after 40 mins we realized that this was it. After exiting the boat we wandered across the market which was basically no different from what we had seen in Bangkok already. No tasting/food was included in the 75 USDollars per person so we had to buy the things we wanted to eat. We then drove to another market that was tiny and had nothing to do with a floating market at all. We walked across and because we were not hungry anymore we were done after 30 mins and jumped back into the car that drove us back to the city. All in all, very disappointing taking into account the price which this is offered for!
