What travelers are saying
- Anurag217Kolkata (Calcutta), India6 contributionsA well-organized market where the local people display their products. The ambiance is cool. Visited on a Saturday, we witnessed a magic show kind of performance by a person who resembled Charlie Chaplin. The show was quite enjoyable.
The products are reasonably priced and the collection of artifacts is good. Anybody visiting Hua Hin should visit this market.Written May 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Raintree_ThailandBangkok, Thailand2,915 contributionsWe've been to Kanchanaburi and the Bridge over the River Kwai many times. With people just now starting to travel again after the Covid pandemic, it's a good time to visit places such as the bridge without hordes of tourists. We enjoyed a more solemn and quiet visit than anytime in the past.Written May 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Runghen TMauritius5 contributionsGood peace of mind, if you need some place calm to set your mind to peace and get some rest please visit this temple a bit far away from the crowing centre. Also if you get to assist in the monk prayers please do so.

I purchased 2 paintings but they were not completely dry yet. Ray offered to have them delivered to me at my resort. Which they did. - Marnix BGhent, Belgium9 contributionsFirst of all, no doubt when you visit the museum this leaves a strong impression of the impact of the tsunami. This being said, the place is rather desolate and visit of 30 mins is more than sufficient. We visited also Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Memorial Center, which is far more impressive and we found it more worthy to visit.Written March 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MikybkkBangkok102 contributionsthis was a new place for me and I liked it a lot better than the older ones. Very good information about the war and the POW. Double pricing should not be in place as only a difference of 50 baht. By do same pricing it can make 5 stars.Written January 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- pppunch.Kanchanaburi, Thailand2 contributionsPay homage to Luang Pu Thuat, a large, clean and beautiful temple. - Wingfield73Chiang Mai, Thailand863 contributionsWe enjoyed our visit to this well organised aquarium. The emphasis throughout the exhibits was on education - particularly on environmental issues. A welcome surprise was the previous double pricing for foreigners had been corrected and I hope this will become the pattern elsewhere in Thailand. Set aside around one and a half hours for the visitWritten May 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BMWCHOYSingapore, Singapore719 contributionsI visited Wat Sangkhathan in February 2016 during Lunar New Year period. My Thai friends drove us to Wat Sangkhathan as I stayed @ my friends home in Nonthaburi. Mainly local Thais visit Wat Samphran so therefore this Wat was quiet and serene. Many nuns chanting during afternoon. I will definitely visit Wat Sangkhathan again in near future.Written July 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
