- DarinQuito, Ecuador401 contributionsWe visited this in the afternoon—around 5 pm. This is a very peaceful place. We visited the cafe and had some tea. This place had wifi, which was nice.
We walked around the garden after tea. Really nice place.Written September 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sofiaDubai, United Arab Emirates2 contributionsSurronding is beautiful and its a good hiking place however the monastry itself was closed for public hence i couldnt enter.
I wanted to also share that the road lays next to the complex gets abonded for few meters, unfortunately I got insulted by a person who was riding a motor bike on the narrow road. I keep travelling to nepal weekly bases and never something like this happened to me before, its a safe place in general . just be careful if ladies walking alone there as it gets deserted at one point and there was noone around on top the hillWritten March 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Zima was great and I knew she could feel the tensions in my muscles and focussed on them. Would 100% recommend. - Neung K.Thailand2 contributionsI loved it so much!
This is the best experience for a cooking class I've done. I came for trekking and accidentally found this class. I checked it out and asked them of I could join with my tight schedule. I had only a few hours before I went to the airport. They were willing to add me to the upcoming class!
We had 4 people in the group, really fun and the food was amazing!
Nilam and her team (Nishma, Samjhana) are the best!! Nilam brought us to the local market and spice shop. She explained all the details we should know. She is knowledgeable, has great energy, and has really good English.
Highly recommend: DO NOT have breakfast before you come for cooking class because you won't have room for all the tasty food you get to cook 😂😂😂😂Written October 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara DKitchener, Canada9 contributionsI had an amazing morning with the family learning to cook some Nepali favourites! My favourite souvenir that I’m taking back to Canada is how to r
create veggie momos.
I was instantly put at ease and welcomed into their home. There is lots of love in their house, and it is reflected in their delicious cooking. Highly recommend, even for novice chefs like myself who make wobbly-shaped momos! ❤️Written June 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend a relaxing day in a highly calm and stress free environment. Thankful to the amazing and professional staff that took time to cater to my relaxation. - Kalai SS'pore7 contributionsPaul has been instrumental in helping me organise my EBC trekking trip. He always answers calls and responds within a short period. Mansing, my guide, was very patient throughout the trip and motivated me when I was struggling. He fully understood my limitations. Harka, the porter, is the strong, silent person. A very humble guy. Both these people showed what Nepalis people truly are. This trip is an eye opening experience and I will definitely recommend Paul to anyone who wants to embark in it.Written October 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daryll D3 contributions100% recommended. Every detail was taken care of. The hotel, drivers, and guides were all top notch. We planned this trip for a year and had lots of questions. The level of communication was outstanding and made the task of planning easy. - Felipe RSao Paulo, SP7 contributionsGreat day exploring main Kathmandu sites. Lots of information provided by Phadinra, my guide for the day. We visited most of the UNESCO heritage sites and could get some in depth information on the local culture / way of living. Definitely recommend it for some quick cultural immersion whilst visiting Kathmandu.Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seaside6076821 contributionAm glad that I chose Himalayan Glaciers to go to my dream destination Mt Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. Everything was professionally managed and very well taken care of. The fresh food was excellent and the team was very helpful during our strenuous hike of 4 days. Will go again with them someday soon.Written September 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Manuel B P4 contributionsJust completed the Langtang Valley trek with Exciting Nepal and particularly my guide Keshab. The trek began with a pick up in Katmandú to the base of the Langtang Valley dominated by rice fields. The first few hours we climbed through tropical forest with bamboos, gingers and bananas. Soon we entered a steep gorge and began a steep climb up to our first overnight stay. The next days we continued our climb up to the top, stopping along the way in various teahouses, hosted by local nepales, which invited us into their kitchens and cooked delicious local meals for us. At the top, 4400, we reached the final peak overlooking glaciers and Langtang Peak 7000+ meters.
I could not recommend this trek more ... simply AMAZING views and culture....
But MOST particularly the excellent organization and friendship by Exciting Nepal and my guide Keshab.... one of the most gratifying experiences of a lifetime.

It was kind of hard(-ish) but so so worth it. The nature is literally incredible, the most amazing nature i’ve ever seen in my life! I saw so many waterfalls, animals roaming around, just sleeping in a guesthouse and overlooking the mountains was incredible by itself. This was an experience I will never forget in my life! Especially the day we woke up at 4 am to hike up 1h to see the sunrise at poonhill, I am still speechless. I am so grateful and Shiva (the tourguide) is so so kind and caring, he even helped me carry my bag for a bit when I was tired. Overall a 10/10 experience and worth every penny! If you visist Nepal this is a must!Written October 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
