- Global384911600051 contributionExceptional Guide, Ram: A Must-Have for the Langtang Trek
I wholeheartedly recommend Ram as a tracking guide for the Langtang trek in Nepal. His expertise, care, and enthusiasm made our journey unforgettable. Ram's extensive knowledge of the trail and local culture impressed us from the start. He effortlessly guided us through diverse terrains while sharing captivating stories. His genuine concern for our safety and well-being was evident, providing invaluable advice on altitude sickness prevention. Ram's warm personality fostered camaraderie within our group, creating a welcoming atmosphere. His organizational skills ensured our comfort, from accommodation to meals, exceeding our expectations. With Ram by your side, you'll have an exceptional adventure, creating cherished memories. Thank you, Ram, for being an exceptional guide on our Langtang trek!

It is a custom built gallery which is beautifully curated, showing an eclectic mix of art in different media and with varying themes. On our visit we were able to see the section devoted to the meticulous drawings of a German born artist who studied and drew plans of various temples in Kathmandu. After the 2015 earthquake these have been a valuable source of information for the reconstruction. The religious works exhibited, both pictorial and in statuary are simply stunning.Written March 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gautam05Chennai (Madras), India59 contributionsVisited in December 2022. We went to this place as part of a full day sightseeing tour. It is closed on Wednesdays and all public holidays. The timings are also very short. Around 10 am to 2 pm. Entry fee applies to everyone except Nepali senior citizens. If we use Indian currency, there is a chance we may get shortchanged. Happens everywhere. Better to use Nepali currency. There is a locker where we have to deposit all of our stuff including mobiles. Only wallets and water bottles are allowed. The washrooms are cleanly maintained. There is a defined pathway which will lead through the entire viewable area of the palace. As expected, we are not supposed to touch anything. Apart from the palace, we get to see the royal massacre site as well as the garden, royal plane, helicopter, cars and a bungalow. Seeing everything properly will take 2 to 3 hours.Written January 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SLHDee5 contributionsWe ate at several of the restaurants and did some shopping, too. A lovely, quiet refuge in the middle of Kathmandu. Stayed at the fabulous Baber Mahal Vilas.Written March 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gaze NepalKathmandu, Nepal67 contributionsWe went on hike around the National Park in the winter season.
We saw Hog Plum plants everywhere which can only be found in Nepal.
Best for a jungle experience and nature getaways.
Rock climbing is one of the activities, that park offers.
I would suggest to walk with a guide as the hiking trails go deep into the forest.
Waterfalls and small river streams can be seen on the way.Written July 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marie H3 contributionsEnglish mass is at 9 AM on Sunday! Beautiful Catholic oasis in minority religion in Nepal.
Very friendly congregation — I was invited to a family’s home after mass for coffee :)Written March 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was looking for a professional, strong and therapeutic massage for my back and shoulders and that is what I got. Mr Ganga was treating me. He is blind but his hands really saw all my problematic regions.
If you are looking for a massage like you would get from a physiotherapist (meaning a strong treatment, not a relaxing massage), go there!!
Best massage I got in my life.Written May 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter AndersenAars, Denmark435 contributionsThe buildings are amazing. Beautiful. But the museum itself is extremely uneven there is a lot of cool things but sometimes the story is not really told. Its just more a lot of things with labels on,not really telling the amazing story of Nepal. Still...
