A fun day into the mountains. Nice views and walk. Nice stroll across the suspensions bridge. Enjoyed seeing the pottery being made.

We had a wonderful time! Our guide Madan was extremely informative and personable.

The hike was really interesting and beautiful and not physically demanding - it's almost all downhill. The sunrise was very unexciting because of the haze, but if it was a clear day it would have been excellent.

Subash was a brilliant guide from start to finish, and he gave very good explanations of the areas we hiked through in excellent English. The views of the Himalayas at sunrise were amazing, and it was fascinating to walk through local villages, see the valleys and explore the Hindu temple at changu Narayan at the end. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a glimpse of the Himalayas, rural life and Nepali culture.

We had an incredible time with Kabita our tour guide - the views were breathtaking and there were tons of activities for our thrill-seeking child and our non-thrill seeking child. Kabita was patient and let us have all the time we needed to soak up the views. Recommend going in the morning for a better chance at clear views - by 1 pm the clouds had started to drop lower.

This was an amazing tour that really highlights Nepalese heritage right here in Kathmandu. My guide (Ananta) was very knowledgeable and hospitable, and was eager to answer all my questions. I learned a lot about the local culture and rituals, and was amazed by just how many temples there are here in Kathmandu. I highly recommend this tour, but bring your walking shoes and a bottle of water!

I absolutely loved this experience- the view from Nagarkot was exceptional! I also really enjoyed the hike through the villages afterwards, seeing the local village life.. the final destination was the oldest Hindu temple in Nepal which is very impressive. Thank you for this great experience!

It was a lovely hike! Shekhar was very friendly and knowledgable, he was showing a lot of plants, birds and explaining the fauna of the region. We discussed history and religion, he was very keen to share and answer questions if you have any interest in any of the above subjects. I strongly recommend the experience with Shekhar! ❤️

Sunrise was amazing and the hike was very nice. Our guide Ram was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and spent much of the walk explaining many things about Nepalese culture and the history of his country. He took us to some local spots for breakfast and lunch which were incredible. Highly recommend

    Namaste. 🙏🏼
    It was amazing.
I really loved it. ☺️ Had so much fun going there and seeing the beautiful view.
The trip was smooth maybe because it is weekdays as mentioned by my guide (Suk).
He was a great photographer too 📸
Managed to ride the swing and Zipline on top of the hill.
Over all I think this is one of the place to visit if you are planning to visit Kathmandu.
    👍🏼👏🏼

I was completed a 4-day trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill with The Great Treks and Expedition, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, making the journey smooth and enjoyable.

My guide Pasang, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. He made sure I were comfortable and shared interesting insights about the local culture, nature, and trekking routes. The breathtaking sunrise view from Poon Hill was truly unforgettable, making all the effort worthwhile.

The accommodations, food, and overall service exceeded my expectations. The team was professional, and their hospitality made the trek even more special. I highly recommend The Great Treks and Expedition to anyone looking for a memorable trekking adventure in Nepal. I will definitely choose them again for future trips EBC!

With this being a last minute booking I wanted and needed everything to be organised quickly, seeing and doing as much as I could in the time I had.

Manny organised everything for me, providing me with an excellent guide, driver, even a packed lunch for the sunrise hike.

The guide provided me with a wealth of information about every world heritage site we attended, eating local cuisines as we went.

The driver was incredibly friendly, giving me advice as to where to go for food, other destinations if I were to come again.

It’s been an intense few days but I’ve loved every minute.

Thank you to Manny for organising everything, it’s been fantastic.
