We did this food tour on Saturday evening along with another very pleasant guest. We met at a hotel in Thamel and started our food adventure. Very bustling and lovely area with lots of noise and commotion. All good and atmospheric. The first stop was a fried momo and Samosa experience and a large ring fried sort of donut. The samosa was very good but the verdict on the other two was ‘so so’. Prefer the boiled momo and the donut thing must be an acquired taste. But plenty of food and bottled water provided and this was only the first stop. Next we went to a pani puri spot ina very tiny little shop ran by a lady who apparently works there around 18 hours per day. Pani puri - like a pastry ball filled with potato and veg and spicy liquid and eaten in one go whole. Verdict. Excellent. Next we went to a lassi emporium for a taster of sweet lassi - topped with nuts and raisins. Verdict the best of the night. All the time we were walking through the mayhem and excitement of the streets. There was some sort of festival happening outside the lassi shop for example - and a big bonfire. From here we went to another highlight - the hand pulled noodles in broth. They were quite bland but then the guide pointed out the spicy sauce and Himalayan pepper and then they came alive. The second best dish of the evening after the lassi. And then on to our
Final venue - where we tasted three specialities. Like a flat bread / cracker topped with spice and tomato and then a ‘bread made from semolina ‘ and finally a dessert with rice flour exterior and molasses inside. All in all a good experience and recommended. Wouldn’t have tried these dishes or seen these venues without the guide Deepak and this tour. Verdict on guide. Very pleasant and informative and helpful. Verdict on tour excellent. I’d say good value for money and a good way to spend maybe 3 hours and tastes maybe ten plus dishes.

Chitwan ist a must have seen place in Nepal.
The Tour is good organized and the friendly guide knows all about the national Park, plants and animals.
The comfortable tower ist the best chance to see wild animals at night.
    Recommendation for this tour.

We had such a great time with Deepak! He took us to so many great places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Delicious food, and a great way to experience Kathmandu on foot. We did this on our first afternoon in the city and it provided a lot of helpful context for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic walking tour with Anil. He took me through Asan bazar to the Kathmandu Durbar square where we visited temples and the palace. The highlight was seeing Pachali Bhairav dance at the palace. Anil has a wealth of information about the temples, Buddhism and Hinduism and helped me appreciate what I was seeing.
I would highly recommend Anil’s walking tour or to arrange other places to see in Kathmandu.

An absolutely breathtaking experience! Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot was magical, and the peaceful hike to Changunarayan was the perfect way to connect with nature. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights about the local culture and history. If you're in Kathmandu, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a mix of adventure and serenity. A must-do!

Myself and 6 other friends recently completed the Gokyo lakes trek with luxury holidays. We were met by our guide ram who instantly put us at ease. Not only did he reassure us of any worries, he consistently adapted to our group to make sure everyone had the maximum experience. The route in which we did was incredible and I will never forget the views of Everest and other mountains within this region. Ram was the friendliest and best guide we could have asked for and we left as friends. Equally Pemba did a fantastic job at keeping up morale and supporting us with porter services. Both ram and Pemba deserve the upmost recognition for the way in which they were with us and if I was to do a trek again with luxury holidays I would only ask for them two! I will never forget this experience so thank you to all involved! The organisation was seamless and our group had an incredible time that we are still talking about. Thank you Ram and Pemba! X

    Trek of a lifetime!
We didn’t expect so many steps and rocky terrain which made this trek a little more challenging for us. Our goal to reach EBC wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance of our wonderful guide Ram and porters
Girija , Pardip and Dipak. They looked after us very well and went above and beyond to ensure we were all well looked after.
The last day trek would have been better if it were split over 2 days so we could rest more before setting off to EBC, this would give trekkers more time to explore EBC before heading back to lodge.
    Thank you 🙏🏻

I had a great experience hiking up to Annapurna base camp with Alpine Ramble and their guide Tilak. He made sure everyone in the group was feeling well enough to continue and motivated us during the trek. The tea houses we slept in were comfortable and provided nutritious food to fuel us for the journey. There were also two excellent and friendly porters with us. Amazing views throughout the hike and especially upon reaching ABC. Highly recommend Alpine Ramble Treks!

I did the circuit to get to the Annapurna base camp plus the safari to Chitwan. It was a super positive experience that I recommend to everyone. My guide Urgen was kind, helpful and precious in every single step. I strongly recommend everything with Nepal
Social Trekking: the organisation, the details, the guides and the itinerary. The costs are in line with the offer available in Kathmandu but - as always- the people made the difference. And they did. I have already booked with them also the trekking to reach to Everest base camp.

This tour was informative and insightful. Mr. Siddarth is an excellent guide, providing an informed background briefing on shamanism and expectations for the tour. He was very communicative throughout the process, answered all of our questions and gave us contacts we could follow up with post experience. He even went out of his way to arrange our visit despite the limited availability due to the Tihar festival.

Our guide Jaya was had a nice pace and was nice to accommodate our request to start slightly later in the day.
Visiting 4 sites is enough for one day if you a looking for a easy paced tour of the city sights. We were there o. The first day of the month long Siva Festival so it was an interesting experience with the crowd

We had an excellent family trek to Annapurna Base Camp. The logistics were well planned and we had great guiding from Sunil Ghale, who chose great lodges to stay at with good accomodation and meals. We were super impressed with our porters lead by Roonan Ghale along with Milan Gurung and Kushal Gurung who really added to the trek.
