This is my second time trekking with ACE in Nepal and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to visit Nepal. The communication and booking process is very smooth, timely, and easy. Sujan at the office is timely with responding to any messages and questions you may have. Our city tour with Dil was a great way to start the trip, he was so informative and patient with us showing us around Kathmandu valley. Our trek with our guide Pasang Dawa Sherpa could not have been better. Pasang is an excellent guide and anyone should ask for him if you’re going with Ace. He is so patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. We ended up changing the course of our trek midway through (supposed to do EBC and Gokyo, but decided on just EBC) and he made all the arrangements for our change. Our porters Lhakpa Sherpa and Tul Bahadur were likewise excellent. They were so kind and they stayed close to us during the whole trek in case we needed anything from our bags. The farewell dinner in Kathmandu was such a delight to finish our trip with. If you’re looking to do any kind of tourism in Nepal, I highly recommend going with ACE.

Raj, the guide promptly grabbed me from my hotel and off we took to the streets. Conveniently he selected places that were all easily walkable from my hotel.

Momo’s, were the first item on the tour menu. They are in essence Nepalese dumplings but, more accurately they are dumplings specifically from Kathmandu locals. Probably one of the most deliciously delicate things I’ve ever had in my mouth! They needed no additional condiments they were so abundant with natural pork flavor as they are stuffed and steamed to perfection.

The second stop was a family run place where the locals dine. We had a sampling of all the favorites. Instead of regular rice this was dried -into flakes so it had a little crunch. Very nice change from standard rice.

Our third stop is a gigantic hit with the locals and the long lines proved that— Samosas—secret family recipe was out of this world delicious if you’re a fan of samosas. They are not so secretly tucked away down an alley and surrounded by three tailor shops. Odd place for a kitchen but, it’s thriving!

As this was a tour of one and I didn’t have to share my food I filled up easily and so my adorable tour guide, Raj provided assistance with translation as I shopped the local specialty shops.

Raj was knowledgeable about the all the food we ate, how it was prepared and how it came to be so successful with the locals.

If you take this tour, I highly recommend that you request Raj .

ABC in March was beautiful. Rhododendrons in full flower and snow at higher altitudes. Bring your winter woollies though, it gets very cold at night and the teahouses higher up generally don't have heating. We added in the Poon Hill trek which was a treat. If you think it's going to be an easy trek think again, there are many thousands of stairs up and down to contend with. Our guide Shiva was very knowledgeable and accommodating (with 13yrs experience guiding). Our porter Pramod was a superstar! They were both very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend both of them! The ABC trek was tough but absolutely worth it!!! Thank you Shree at Base Camp Adventures for organising our trip. He is very accommodating with our requests for our itinerary for not only the trek but extra time spent in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booked this tour with Shepard Holidays Nepal, they were quick and accommodating in responding to my queries. We were assigned to Ankita. Sunrise at Nagarkot was beautiful and hike to ChanguNarayan was abt 2-2.5hrs with some views and small village along the way. ChanguNarayan was unfortunately under construction when we were there. The downside of this tour (as mentioned by some other reviews) was that the guide wasn’t very informative and kept rushing us even though my mom has trouble hiking too fast. We were later told she’s just a trekking guide not tour guide, perhaps we had our expectations too high because all the other guides we had from other tours were amazing and very considerate. Overall this tour is not too bad, as long as you don’t expect too much from the guide.

Som is a fantastic guide with a genuine passion for guiding and an absolute wealth of knowledge. I learnt a lot from him.
Guide and drivers were punctual, and communication with the tour company was good. The trail itself is beautiful and I can only imagine how spectacular it would be if it wasn’t a cloudy day, as we couldn’t see any of the big mountains and mountain ranges surrounding us. Som can communicate in both English and Chinese, is also extremely interested in Chinese culture and language so I would recommend him to anybody looking for a guide who can speak Chinese.

Break at the tea house was lovely, and picnic lunch was a simple but delicious takeaway at a scenic spot.

Lots of steps so would NOT recommend for anybody with knee problems. Some slippery and muddy sections, hiking poles might be helpful. Trail is not too difficult but moderate fitness required, you get quite huffy puffy going uphill!

The only thing I was disappointed with was all the rubbish. Nothing to do with the tour or company, but it was an absolute eyesore. Nepal is blessed with so much natural beauty, I wish the government and local people would take more initiative in taking care of the land!

Thank you for a great day.

We had a professional and educated local guide that was able to make sense of all of the sights, sounds and smells around us. Kathmandu can be an overwhelming city and this really helped pare it down for us. I also appreciated his insights about things like education and government and it was a fantastic learning experience. It was the right amount of time and good value.

Wonderful introduction to the local food specialities. We went into many hidden alley ways that we would not normally have found.
We went to 5 or 6 different outlets, having one or 2 dishes at each.
Shazia was very friendly and informative.

Exceptional trekking experience with Outfitter Nepal on my Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek! I am thankful I found them.

Right from the beginning, Raj was meticulous in responding to many of my emails. His responses were reassuring and prompt, and definitely helped me in my preparations. Costing was transparent too, as stated on their website.

I was blessed to be guided by Ramesh who was attuned to my needs during the trek and supported me when the terrain got tougher. He was passionate in sharing about Nepal and her beautiful people too, a great bonus to this trekking experience which I truly appreciate.

My porter, also called Ramesh (yes, what a coincidence!) was extremely fit (sorry about my heavy bag!) and dedicated. This trip would not have been possible without his help.

We were very blessed with good weather throughout. The clouds cleared up in time for us to view the mountain range both at Poonhill and at the base camp. Of course, there were days where it was truly cold! And I could not have survived the cold without the down jacket and sleeping bag which the team provided.

On the day when I returned to Kathmandu, the team arranged for a celebratory dinner and sought my feedback about the trip. It’s very telling to me that the team is professional, passionate, and dedicated to their work.

Nepal is a beautiful country with beautiful souls. It has so much to offer, and I am already thinking about when I will be returning.

If you’re thinking of travelling to Nepal, whether for sightseeing and/or trekking, do consider Outfitter Nepal and I am sure they will not disappoint (:

The stay at Chitwan NP and the tour in the park were exceptional. Our guide knew his birds very well and he and the driver seemed to have an innate sense of where the larger animals would be hiding. The crème de le crème were the rhinos hanging out in the waters. The hotel manager and staff were exceptionally kind; the food was wonderful; and the room was very nice.

The tour bus experience was not nice, at all. When we asked why we had to sit at the very back of the bus going to Chitwan we were told we were lucky to have seats. Once the tour company had collected our money it seems they forgot we were still clients.

Would I do this again? Perhaps…if I had longer to stay at the Park; the 8+ hour bus ride, each way, was awful and really minimized my capacity to enjoy the experience.

A wonderful day learning about how both Buddhism and Hinduism live side by side in this amazing city. Our lovely, knowledgeable guide Sanjeeb made the day fun and interesting.

I really enjoyed this tour. It was a good mix of local street art and also learning about the history and culture in Patan. The guides Bipin and Sujan were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique way to explore Patan.

Our Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Eco Adventure was absolutely brilliant - we loved every moment of it. Our guide Raj was fantastic, Sancheman the assistant guide was great, and Icarus our porter was impressively strong and fast lugging our duffel bags to the next destination.

Nepal Eco Adventure were really helpful and responsive when planning/booking the trek, and our guide Raj kept everything perfectly organised and going to plan on the trek itself. Every time there could been problems like flight delays or changed destinations, Raj was able to save the day.

The lodges we stayed at were basic but very welcoming, with great food to keep us fueled. Every night of the ascent Raj checked our oxygen levels and told us what the plan for the next day's hiking would be.

I recently completed the Manaslu Circuit trek via the upper route with 'Nepal Trekking Experts' in October last year. It was an amazing experience, my first Himalayan trek. The owner Rajesh was very helpful with planning and advice both in Kathmandu and via email, making me feel very confident about this trip and giving good advice about the equipment I needed. It was especially nice to be picked up from the airport by him - arrival at night in a strange city can be quite daunting! Although bad weather conditions were being reported in the high valleys around Manaslu, he kept me updated and planned a safe trip. I joined a group of 11 other trekkers for this trip, and we shared jeeps up to the trailhead at Barpak. The trekking team, with guide Rabin in the lead, and guides/porters Gakul, Kritam and Santosh, were always helpful and cheerful and couldn't do enough for us during the trek. They liked to entertain us with dancing and song, and were all smiles despite their loads and liked to chat. Their local knowledge of Manaslu proved invaluable when we needed a quick change of plans due to changes in path conditions, they always seemed to know how to get round any obstacles we came upon. As a bonus their cooking skills meant we always had a tasty range of meals in the teahouses. Although members of our group walked at different speeds, we always managed to find the way, helped by the team who kept with us all day. Their encouragement was especially appreciated particularly on the long, long day crossing the snowy Larkye La pass. Great service all round from the company and team and good value for money too. There was so much to appreciate on this circuit, from the grand vistas of snowy peaks, deep valleys, airy bridges, smiling faces, giggling kids and colourful mountain villages. I will certainly use Nepal Trekking Experts again when I return to Nepal for more adventures.
