What an incredible day tour. Martha and Michael were a great team! It was a privilege to be taken to the spot where the Nile starts. We learnt so much and really enjoyed the boat ride and was amazed at the variety of wildlife. We stopped at a fascinating waterfall on the way too; everything was included.

Lunch was a real highlight. We sat on the banks of the Nile and a truly EXCEPTIONAL lunch was provided. We chose freshly cooked whole Tilapia, straight from the Lake! We could have stayed there forever!

Totally recommended.
Martha has just started this company and you are helping a local Ugandan by choosing her and because she's new...I felt she worked harder than anyone else for our benefit.

Great experience with Moses one thing I loved was the villages you go through on the way to the equator. At the equator the experiment was amazing( I won't say what the experiment is don't want to spoil the surprise)and the certificate and photos are forever memorable. Would highly recommend this trip for anyone coming to Uganda it's a must visit!

I went on a solo trip with Augustine, my guide, and had a great time. Augustine was very chatty, accommodating and knowledgeable - making my trip easy, fun and educational. I also booked just the evening before departing so, the company was very flexible.
We stayed in Hornbill Lodge which was the cheapest option. It was basic and comfortable, with lovely views. The hotelier-come-chef was great and knowing I wanted to try local food, made us 'rolex' for lunch and 'matoke' for breakfast as well as western food on other nights.
We saw all of the animals bar the big cats, during 2 game drives and 1 boat trip. Personal highlights were seeing the many many warthogs and the hippos.

One of the best experiences I have ever had! I can say that the level of professionalism, hospitality, and courtesy exceeded my expectations!
Great team and of course a beautiful country. If you ever decided to go there (and I highly recommend to do so) ask for Charity and George and they'll make sure you get the best Safari.

Srunning views, brilliant horses and best of all fabulous trainers. Encouraging, knowledgeable, child friendly. 3 kids (aged 9,10 and 12) were doing a rising trot in their first session.

Prime Safaris did a great job with organizing our trip, permits, accommodation and food. They made the trip effortless and smooth.

I want to give our guide, Peter, a shout out! He was really the highlight of the trip. Peter was knowledgeable and so passionate about Uganda and the animals. He shared all sorts of stories and folklore about Uganda, their lakes, forests and mountains. Truly a pleasure! Everyone needs to ask for Peter when they're booking with Prime Safaris.

We had an unbelievable stay in Uganda where we spent 12-days. We felt completely safe and well looked after by our fabulous guide, Remmy, In addition to taking us to see the chimpanzees, gorilla and game safaris, we also visited basket weavers, a local village as well as had a Kampala city tour and a boat tour to the Mabamba swamp in Lake Victoria. Our accommodations were great, food delicious, jeez comfortable and pacing perfect. AND we also went white water rafting on the Nile!

Friendly Gorillas safaris was recommended to us by a friend. For sure, they did not disappoint. Right from the day inquiry response time to the execution time, the Anthony and the team including Our guide Solomon was amazing. It made the trip really worthwhile. I Strongly recommend them :)

We did an 11 day expedition from entebbe, through the bwindi forest for the gorillas, kibale for the chimpanzees, among others. Encounter was extremely accommodating and willing to provide us with a quality experience. Alex (aka bob) was an exceptional guide, he went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing time. If I go again, I’ll definitely be requesting him. One thing I forgot, stupidly, was a large lens for wildlife photography. If you want to take really good shots, you’re gonna need something 100mm and up. Thank you encounter!

This was an amazing trip! There were so many highlights... our outstanding, kind, patient, amazing leader Philip!! What an absolute saint.

He was so organized and insightful! Our awesome trek crew who spoiled us with outstanding food and camaraderie. The beautiful people of Uganda who are so generous with their history and culture. The rafting was challenging but finishing with friends made it totally worth the effort.

Honestly, I cannot think of a way this trip could have been better. We were so well cared for and it is definitely an active adventure!”

After a false start with another Trip Adviser package where I received very little communication, I booked this trip with Simba Africa Expeditions despite them having no customer reviews. I needn't have worried! Almost immediately I started receiving messages confirming my trip and arrangements. I did have to pay extra than advertised because I was a solo traveller, but the increase was relatively modest. It also meant that I had a personal guide and driver. Arnold was excellent, very knowledgeable about everything and obliging, ensuring that I wasn't short of food or water.

My accommodation near Pakwach was unique and very comfortable. It was in easy reach of the National Park. From the get go I was busy with three game drives and a trip on the Nile river to Murchison Falls. But be prepared for an early start every morning! But so worth it with an abundance of wildlife, and I managed the 'big five' including a close encounter with a leopard. Arnold had so much knowledge of the wildlife and I learnt so much. And on top of that we got to walk with Rhinos in Ziwa Sanctuary.

I would without hesitation recommend Simba Africa!

We took several tours with African Adventure Travels. This one to Murchison Falls was one of them. We also went to Queen Elizabeth National park and Lake Bunyonyi. All of these experiences we unforgettable. My favorite part was just driving through the country of Uganda in our safari car and or awesome guide Ben Lubega . Also standing next to Murchison Falls and feeling the power of so much water moving through such a small area was unbelievable, both scary and exciting at the same time. . The trip was unforgettable. We saw all of the Big 5 except the lions. Ben is awesome guide. He knows 4 languages and was able to communicate with everyone that we encountered. He has extensive knowledge of Uganda it's history and people. He knows all about the habits of the African wildlife and is an engaging conversationalist. He was especially helpful during the frequent road blocks that occurred because of Covid checks. As it turned out the country was locked down the day after we arrive except for tourists so we were treated well. I would definitely use African Adventure Travels again.

My friend and I had spent 2 weeks working in Kampala, in our 3rd and last week we made a last minute decision to do a safari and we found Simba Safari trough safari bookings.com we talked to them and explained that we were in a rush, in less then 30 minutes we had booked and payed for the safari. Our guide, Jorge, arrived at our place in time and took us to see the falls, what an amazing sight that was! First we did a boat ride and after that we had a very nice game drive that ended at the Pakuba lodge. It’s a nice lodge, ok food, but great for just spending the night, unfortunately there was a power breakdown and we had to bath using lanterns. The following morning we headed to a game drive, Jorge managed to find a total of 14 lions for us! He was a great guide! Later on we headed to the rhino sanctuary, for a walk to find the rhinos, we found them and they were walking towards our direction, we had to keep moving back, it was very exciting! This was the end of the experience, I believe it was the greatest choice we could make to end this amazing trip!
Thank you Jorge and Simba Safari!

This was fun--a great mix of culture, nature, and new experiences, and our two guides were both professional and friendly. Joe, who took us to Mabira Forest and Sezibwa Falls, made us feel like instant friends. It was nice to pay up front and then not have to worry about anything else. They were also flexible when we changed out hotel plans at the last minute, which threw off the planned itinerary.

We had a safari planned for the next day with someone else, but it was just a headache to put together and then when their driver showed up with more surprises, we canceled ... and then scheduled another tour with Immersion, where we KNEW we would have a good experience. If only we had planned the safari with them!

This trip was once in a lifetime! The views were outstanding throughout the entire trip. Seeing all of the animals in the wild was a sight to behold. On our safari we safely got up close to a group of lions and their cubs. The driver is friendly and informative and provided a wonderful experience throughout the whole adventure. The hike, falls, and boat tour provide an opportunity to see beautiful waterfalls and a plethora of hippos! Housing and food along the trip were also unique and I was happy to try new food. Nile Perch, yum! I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone that is looking to learn and enjoy themselves in the wonderful country of Uganda.

It was so awesome to book our tour with Wild Travel Safari and most importantly having Richard take us on the trip. He was so professional and knowledgeable about all the places he took us and all the details pertaining to those places. We had the best moments ever on a tour and we can’t wait for another booking with Wild Travel Safari. By the way, it was so thoughtful to have the pineapple break and the sunset golden hour moment.
