Very well organised from pick up safety briefing, 15 minute flight (3 passengers all with window seats) and then debrief. Thoroughly enjoyed the flight with Jonathan and the video/photos to bring away afterwards (extra cost but fab memento). Thanks guys.

Quick Backstory: We were quite fortunately connected with a superb local guide, Brighton, from Tamuka Travel, who arranged our four-day itinerary for our visit to the area. Brighton knew that we prioritized a great experience over price, and he choose Chikopokopo Helicopters for us. We’re grateful he did!

It’s clear upon arrival that Chikopokopo Helicopters is well-run and operated by proud, safety-minded, and hospitable professionals, which is an important first impression, as concerns naturally arise as to the safety associated with the thrill of a recreational helicopter flight over one of nature’s most remarkable wonders.

The equipment [the helicopter] was modern, clean, and well-maintained.

Perhaps, above all, the pilot was a delightful, experienced professional from South Africa, who not only inspired our confidence in the safety of our flight, he contributed greatly to our overall enjoyment, as he exhibited engaging interest in our experience and his knowledge of the area and wildlife below.

The scale of the Falls is impossible to capture in photos, which is why we decided to take a helicopter flight.

We opted for the longer flight in order to appreciate the extraordinary grandeur of the Falls, as well as the nine gorges beyond, formed over the millennia by the Zambezi River, and the neighboring natural park that features a watering hole, around which herds of elephants tend to mingle.

The arrangements were just as expected. Everything was well-organized, the flight was smooth, the communications equipment operated well… and, of course, the views were spectacular!

The pick-up and drop-off were just as smooth and comfortable. All expectations met or exceeded! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

    Highly recommended!

This was a fantastic day trip to see sooooo many animals! Chobe is a beautiful park and we were lucky to see four of the "big five" in one morning! After our very enjoyable game drive, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at a local restaurant, and then saw more animals on the river cruise. All in all, a great way to spend a day and very convenient to our general location, Victoria Falls.

Booked this trip through dk tours and safaris, good communication, smooth payment and confirmation.

Transfers worked well, and the partner company that had the tour was excellent. Very happy with this tour. The river is a fantastic landscape to just be in, so you are in for a treat.

A general advice though, after reading several reviews on safari sites. Before booking: Know what you want to see, and find the tour that enhance the chances of just that. We wanted to see elephants and got a LOT. We didn’t get any lions though, as we probably should’ve started the game drive at early morning to increase the chance of that. But that was a choice we took. Be smart. Read up. And regardless: marvel at the wonder nature is.

Thank you so much! We had an amazing time. All the staff were great especially Cherry on the boat who found us elephants swimming the river into Namibia and Phil on the vehicle who found us a lioness and her three cute cubs just before we left Chobe. I cannot decide whether I enjoyed the boat or vehicle more and the buffet lunch was great. All the transfers and help with border crossings went so smoothly too. Highly recommend visitors to Victoria Falls to include this in your itinerary and it’s well worth every cent spent.

Oo man..the highlight of my mom's trip. Really enjoyed . William , the manager for Wiltac tours was great . He went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable experience. Indeed it was . We saw lions which had a fresh kill, lots of elephants, crocodile , zebras etc. Lunch which William organised was superb. It was such a great time for the family.!!!

We've been a couple of days in Kasane and took the opportunity to see the Vic-Falls for a day.
The pick-up at the hotel in Kasane was easy, transport nice and comfortable, just a couple of minutes, smooth ride to the border with a handover to a Zimbabwean tour guide at the border.
After approx 1h waiting at the border we finally made it. As it was October we were the only 2 guests of the day with the guide so it was easy to talk throughout the 1h drive to the Falls. He showed us the whole Falls and we really enjoyed the guided walk. Water level was low which is good for pictures as the lens is not washed away by all the spray.
The lunch was very good quality and can be recommended, drinks to pay but thats ok. The market afterwards is for guys who know to negotiate - we didn't and made the dealer quite happy. As a recommendation, walk the market until you saw everything and compare the prizes. Do not buy at the most pleasant person as they know how to handle tourists ;-)

Most amazing trip on the Bamba Tram this morning. Hidden gem of Vic falls. Friendliest team sharing history of the bridge construction. Delightful journey through the reserve to the bridge, visited stunning viewing points of the falls, gorge and the bridge. Highly recommend!!

Giacomo is a very good safari planner. We did a 14 days safari tour in Zambia, first in South Luangwa (with a very expert and nice guide Mallam) the in Lower Zambezi (also perfect guide Giacomo), finally Victoria Falls, Rhino Safari, and Chobe (Botswana). We were a group of 7, me mu wife a friend of us and 4 teens. We saw so many animals (eleph, lions, leopardo, giraffs, rhinos, kudu, hippos) and beautiful landscapes that our heart is still in Zambia
