Our first Safari to celebrate our 7th Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't have asked for more. From first contacting the company Baraka was very professional and took us through our itinerary making any requested changes promptly. He was quick to answer our questions and made us feel valued. He met us at the start and end of our trip and even caught up with us as we travelled to ensure we were having a good time.

Our guide for the trip was the amazing Hussein. Well spoken, very caring, and extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife including birds, trees and flowers as well as the animals, he wanted us to have the best possible experience.

The game drives were incredible and we saw a huge range of animals including Serval, Secretary Bird, Hippo, Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo, Leopard, Zebra, Rhino, Hyenas, Flamingo, Olivia Baboons, to name but a few. He also sorted out our hot water issue at one of the hotels and always checked we were okay and having a good time. Our favourite part was the Serengeti and our 3-night stay at nyota luxury camp. We shall never forget lying in our tent on the last night listening to the Lion roaring outside our window. We were fortunate to experience the Great Migration and watch hundreds of Wildebeest and Zebras on their walk northwards. It was not all about the photo opportunity but just spending time amongst the animals and appreciating their beauty.

The people are very welcoming and we enjoyed the Masai welcome and farewell at the camp as well as the singing and dancing at Neptune lodge. They all wanted us to love their country as much as they do. Thanks to Baraka and Hussein we had a great experience - one we will never forget.

The best holiday experience with a family sofar!
2 days in Tarangire National Park and 2 days in Ngorongoro Crater. We were hosted by Safari with Me. Super service, super guidance, accommodation well picked, tasty African food, girls ate like they did not know before what tasty is!
We are definately returning some day again to Tanzania, so much to see and learn about wildlife! We have made many beach holidays but safari offered an adventure and new type of activity for us all.
Thanks to Safari with Me we can warmly recommend you!

There are over a thousand safari tour companies in this part of Tanzania, which makes it difficult to know which one to choose. We (family of five) booked with Halisi African Adventures, Our initial contact was with Brighton, who took very good note of our requests and suggested a tailor-made, 4 days safari in Mikumi and Selous included accommodation.
Although I will do individual reviews of the lodgings, I can already confirm that all lodgings booked for us by Halisi African Adventures were excellent. Brighton remained available for questions during our stay in the national parks. All went really well and we are fully satisfied. A special thanks to Paul, our guide during our stay in the national parks. Not only was he a very good driver but also he made sure that we could observe the wild animals in the most spectacular way. He was great company during the meals and I very much appreciated his sense of humour. We were very fortunate to have Paul as our guide. He made our safari an unforgettable.

We were on a group tour from a cruise ship. We went on a short walk through the forest and saw the blue monkeys and red colobus monkeys, nothing else except a squirrel with a very long tail. We also drove to the mangrove area with the wooden bridge, which was interesting to see. There was also a short music and dancing performance by locals.

We have been on 2 Safaris with Halisi African Adventures. Second trip (after Mikumi National Park ) was Selous Game Reserve. It was amazing experience.
Our guide Patrick did his best to show us as many animals as possible.
He has a great knowledge about their habits and behavior and during the trip he made sure we have all we need.
We could observe wildlife without hurrying, and could take our time in every spot as long as needed.
Safari vehicle was comfortable, and safe. We were provided with good quality binoculars.
Brighton also organized for us triple room for accomodation instead of 2 separate rooms, what was very important for us. Selous is really stunning place on Earth.

Unlike quite a lot of people, we were lucky. We didn't have to wait for the migration. Instead, the migration happened to be where we were going.

It is surreal to drive through a group of millions of animals. We saw the wildebeest running. We saw the zebras play-fighting among each other. It was a unique experience and we couldn't believe how lucky we were.

By far the best organization, best guides, food and experience for Trekking Gombe National Park. It was wonderful not just getting the itinerary and communication ahead of time, but also having Elizabeth, walk you through everything with Hussain, the guide +255 716597071 their WhatsApp number. They have heart. You can tell their genuine interest in giving us the best experience. They were professional, honest and thorough. I also used  Tanzania Horizon Safaris for a safari experience at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

I 100% recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris because of their price-quality and professionalism.

The Serengeti will forever be one of the best places I have visited in my life. We didn't expect to get so lucky, but we did. Besides being able to complete the big 5 within our East Africa trip, we saw lions, leopards and cheetahs.

And by some miracle, we ended up driving through the Great Migration as they were crossing the road to make their way from south Serengeti to central Serengeti.

The landscape is vast and there is always something exciting to see.

We sincerely hope that this National Park is protected, because its beauty is unmatched.

This is not just a review of the National Park but of the TANAPA Bandas that we stayed in.
There is a nice lodge on the Island but there are also Bandas that are much more budget friendly as well as well managed by a willing staff.
I had stayed before and wanted to return as I had enjoyed it so much.
Booking was straight forward, almost, and the Park Authorities helpfully arranged a boat to ferry us over from their HQ on the mainland together with our belongings and supplies. The chalets/bandas are self catering in a central Mess and Crockery, cutlery and gas are supplied at a reasonable cost. There are about six self contained Bandas in good and clean condition but a torch is needed at night as wildlife can wander the grounds.
We had BushPigs and Hippo around most days and of course lots of birds.

The island holds a relict elephant population as well as giraffe ad is one of the best places to see the Sitatunga Antelope and Otters. There is also a colony of chimpanzees formed from young ones taken from poachers and tourists as well as given by zoos when they became unwanted.

WE did a boat cruise around the island to see many water birds and another day we went on a drive to find giraffe and other mammals. We also went on walks birdwatching and generally had an excellent time.

Lake Manyara National Park is a gem, sometimes less visited than the more famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. But it is well worth a visit. The vegetation is different, as it has dense tropical forest at the base of the steep cliffs that are the Rift Valley wall which is very pronounced in this location. In these forests are huge rare tropical trees such as Mahogany, Ficus, and Sycamore interspersed with massive old Baobabs. The Park is known for its rich birdlife along the shores and in the swampy areas. You might see species such as the large Southern Ground Hornbill and the Saddle Bill Stork, and Malachite Kingfishers. There are elephants, buffalo, varieties of antelope, blue monkeys and many baboons. The "tree dwelling lions" publicized in the Park are rather more a legend than something you will see. The lake has expanded significantly in the last few years, so you will see drowned forest areas now, but in them you will also likely see water-loving species of buck. Don't miss Lake Manyara National Park. Have a picnic, but take bug spray.

You take a boat near Bismarck Rock in Mwanza.
It is a nice cruise to the Island seeing local settlements on the sharp sides of the Lake, fishermen etc.
You alse see different birds - often catching fish.
On the Island we hired a guide who was very good at telling us the history of the Island and its wild life.
We saw amongst others zebras, antilopes, monkeys, lions (in a care) reptiles, snakes, many birds etc.
The nature of the Island is beautiful (you can take some wonderful pictures).
There is a restaurant on the Island and it serves mainly fish.
It is a nice way to spend half a day!!
