We arranged to meet our guide Jason (who also runs one of the best whale boat tours in the area) through Dave, and after a rendezvous at the Roundhouse B&B we were chauffeured out to the Walker Bay Nature Reserve...
Had a fabulous afternoon with Dave riding on the sand dunes - our four boys aged 7 - 14 all loved it!! Brilliant activity for active families with an experienced, patient guide.

He is an extremely nice guy, great road cyclist (an amateur racer so he can eat up the miles and the hills with ease), very knowledgeable on cycling and also South Africa and it's history.
I did some road riding with Mark last time I was in Cape Town which were wonderful, but the MTB’ing was almost better - the routes are so beautiful, safe and peaceful.

Bikes 'n Wines Cape Town Central
We got to try some excellent wines from three really nice vineyards, but the true show-stealer was the bike ride itself - beautiful views of the mountains and Stellenbosch itself under lovely sunshine.
Our guide, Willy, took us on a lovely tour through the wine-lands, tasting wonderful wines, enjoying a lovely lunch, showing us beautiful views views while getting some exercise also.

Cape Velo Stellenbosch
My 15 year old is an enduro rider and says the single track is some of the best he's ridden and the rides are fun and also nicely challenging with great climbs and descents.
The day trip started with a nice coffee, had a lunch break at a wonderful wine farm, included great sights, challenging trails, enjoyable flow trails.
All 4 tours were perfectly arranged - the cellar tour at Bergkelder, brandy cellar tour with chocolate tasting at Van Ryn with our first ever rare experience of a cooper's barrel making demonstration.
This is a great trip if you are looking to balance a little of the history and culture of Stellenbosch and combine it with a wine exploration into the bargain.

A combination of beautiful scenery, two amazing guides, Mandy and Anne, stops at 4 vineyards for wine tasting and ending with a gourmet lunch at our last top.
Mandy met us where and when we had pre-agreed and we set off on mountain bikes, stopping occasionally for Mandy to point out various points of interest and explain some of the history of Knynsa and Thesen Island.
Spent a very stimulating few hours exploring the art , graffiti and murals in the streets of Woodstock Cape Town in the capable hands of our knowledge guide Zakaria.
Our tour guide Zachariah was great in explaining all the amazing art we saw on tour and the explanations and stories which goes with it was mind-blowing.

We had a fantastic e bike experience with Animal Ocean.
It‘s an easy and relaxed ride and Robyn took us to 3 excellent wineries in the region of Franschhoek where we tried outstanding wines and got a very tasty lunch at the last winery - all home made and local.
Robyn was great - very knowledgeable, personable and took time at each vineyard and gave excellent recommendations = the only warning is we went back the next day to the vineyards to have crates of wine to be deli...
