Very long and wide beach. Lots of shade so you dont need to bring umbrellas even. We had a great time being in the water there (we went in May-June).

Having done Copolia the day before, I did not find this trail hike to be too bad although it is slightly longer. However, there are some places that you want to be careful since it can be steep in some places, and one wrong step can lead to a fall. The view at the top is amazing but is once again dependent on weather. I went when clouds were rolling in, but was able to get beautiful views.

It’s nice but expected more. I wanted to read about the local plant species, but no information on them. The map is also a bit complicated

I was a bit worried about the crowds here so we arrived at 6:30 am and it is definitely worth getting there early! We had the beaches to ourselves for hours and even hiked up through the jungle past the abandoned house. It was beautiful up there on the rocks with great views. Some areas in the ocean are a bit rocky and I definitely recommend carrying your water shoes. One of the most surprising parts I liked was actually right at the entrance! We ran past there early morning but on the way out saw the vast clear water and spent hours in there.

One negative comment which has nothing to do with the beach- I wish Seychelles would ban drones! They are intrusive and noisy and everyone seems to have the horrid things!

I did this hike with a guide. While it was not initially easy (not having hiked in a very long time), it led to amazing views. However, the viewpoint is very weather dependent, so it is definitely recommended to check the weather in advance and go in the morning when it is likely clearer.

Ginormous tortoises!!! Do we need to write more?
Joking aside, Moyenne Island is a wildlife sanctuary, which started off with housing and protecting adorable and beautiful tortoises, who were just adorable and impressive. The whole trek around the island started off with feeding these beautiful creatures from our hands with leaves and baby mangoes.
The walk around the island is also really worth it, with the possibility to see many other endemic and introduced beauties (both flora and fauna).

Pro tip: going around the trail in slippers is possible, but if you get unlucky, some parts can be very slippery due to rain, so we were very happy to have hiking shoes with us.

Easily found and reached, animated as any market, colorful and easy going but not one of the nicest markets we've seen, especially throughout SE Asia.

This place was officially opened by the Queen of UK in the 1970s. The mission lodge was were local missionaries taught children. From the lodge to the lookout, you will walk along a small trail that has many trees, identifed with their scientific name. All in all a good visit.

The way is worthwhile, do not forget good shoes! Swimwear of course also! The beach bar is very good and the fruit juices delicious.

Beautiful large beach close to Victoria. Very nice snorkeling on left side, near rocks going to small island. Current can be strong, and fish in the rocks are aggressive. Watch for sea urchins, like many Mahe beaches always wear sea shoes.

The views are lovely, you can see the whole island from here, excellent views, there are several benches to just sit and be! A lovely quiet place where you can spend an hour or two having a nice picnic!

Short-ish hike through the woods out to a gorgeous, secluded beach. This was our favorite beach in all of the Seychelles and would very much recommend.

If you ride your bike down to Grand Anse on La Digue, you will pass by a trail sign for Anse Songe. You can ride your bike a little ways into the trail, then drop them by the side and continue on foot. It goes up and to the right, then onto rocks and out onto the coast. You can spot Grand Anse, then continue to the right along the coast and it opens to this gorgeous spot. The views are amazing and you'll have it all to yourself.

Incredible beach, better than any of La Digue for swimming. No entry fee like L'Union Estate, nor crowds of bicyclists reminiscent of Chinese cities in the 90s! VERY friendly Aldabra Tortioses that love to be petted. What's not to like?

Inter-island trips by Cat Cocos are quick and reasonably comfortable. Getting luggage checked in is a bit of a hassle on the Mahe side - less so from Praslin. In Mahe allow at least 30 minutes before boarding. Lots of visitors so the boat is quite full each time we used it. Bring your own water etc for the 1 1/4 hour travel time as there are no services on board.
