- infinita29Pasadena, CA29 contributionsWanted to rent a moped, was convinced by owner to rent a bike. Something like 15 EUR/day, way too expensive relative to other stuff here, but so worth. The bike is much better than the bikes you buy in the states for $100 USD, feels smooth, roads are good in the desert city, and you really fly round and can explore everywhere.
I went round the city, got lost in the rural areas down in the south east, circled round the jewish quarter, touched on the tanning area. On a bike you don't get hassled cause you go way faster than anyone sitting around hassling people. - Vincenzo DRhodes, Greece142 contributionsWe used the Medina Bikes for 24 hours and we were very happy to explore the city by 2 wheels. It is the smartest way to visit lot of places that otherwise, using taxis, we would have missed.
There are not so many stations yet but i sincerely hope the're going to build new ones and to improve the service.
We had a problem returning the bikes in the station Jardin Majorelle, but we called the assistance and Raid come to find a solution. We lost lot of time for this, but Raid struggled to fix the problem and at the end he recharged our lost credit.

They received us from the airport, it was a smooth transition. The team were very helpful and made contact to ensure everything is okay. From collecting the car to dropping it back off, it was an amazing experience. I have used these guys multiple times. - John FPicton, Canada29 contributionsI decided to rent a car through a local company because of the price. It cost me 30 Euros per day for a small car. This included insurance and a GPS.
Arranging the car through their web site and email worked very well. Great response to my emails and things seem very organized.
I arranged to have the car delivered and picked up at my riad in Marrakech as I thought this would be easier than going to the rental car office. The car was supposed to arrive at 6pm so I was ready at 6pm. Unfortunately the car did not show up until about 730pm so by the time we did the paperwork etc the evening was essentially lost.
I was also told I could pay by credit card but the fellow who delivered the car would have nothing to do with me paying by card and I had to pay cash. Fortunately I had enough cash on me. Also the fellow who delivered the car was fairly rude. He didn't speak English and I don't speak a lot of French but it was not only the language barrier he was just rude.
The car itself was ok. A bit old and a bit banged up but it worked and the price was right.
Again on return the fellow was about an hour late picking it up. This fellow however was very pleasant and quickly checked out the car and there were no hassles on the return.
So, all in all, the price and the car were fine but delivery and pick up were somewhat delayed. If you had to catch a plane or a train this could prove to be a problem. BUT no rip offs or scams. Mohamed was cycling with us and Sheid was with the car! We cycled to really nice places little village etc the view is fantastic and with the two of them the trip was even more fun because they are both very nice and fun guys!! It will be a unforgettable day thanks to Mohamed and Sheid! - Bakhn1 contributionThe worst experience I've had renting quads in Morocco. Both quads broke down 3 times (battery and starter issues), the guide had no idea how to repair them. We lost 30 minutes in our 2h ride, which made us come back after nightfall. Of course, one of the quads' lights were not working and I had to drive without any lights for the remaining 30 minutes. Technical issues can happen for sure, but two quads out of two not working and making us stop 3 times can't be a coincidence. - Alison S15 contributionsThe tour we did with this company was great. A full day out and picked up directly in front of our accommodation. Our guide, Lahcen Mansouri, is Berber and told us about his family's traditional way of life. We did a camel ride, had mint tea, a Berber breakfast, a hike, lunch (delicious!) A great day our from Marrakech for our family (2 teenagers). We did the 3 valleys, waterfall, camel ride, Berber breakfast and lunch tour. Our driver was super nice, the quad ride instructor showed us a very beautiful sunset and took a lot of picture/videos of us and the dinner was absolutely delicious. The show during dinner was the cherry on top!
