- MMA502912Glasgow, UK281 contributionsWe went late morning and although it was January it was busy. Unusual plants and tress and a very old interesting building. We just wandered round ourselves. Didn’t do the tower and there was a lengthy queue for one of the rooms so we couldn’t wait as tight for time. Overall an enjoyable visit and not expensiveWritten March 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GoPlaces7622441 contributionsIf you are looking for a wonderful coffee experience while in Marrakech, look no further than this coffee shop.
It’s a beautiful experience even if you don’t drink coffee, which I don’t 😀 with a shop next door where you can buy wonderful coffees. A must visit if you’ve left someone at home who loves coffee ☕️
It’s a very popular activity in Marrakesh and opens at 10am, be sure to be there by 9.30am and get to the front of the queue to avoid the very long ( 2 hours plus) queues once it opens.
Dar El Bacha coffee house is located in the heart of the city and is part of the same building as Dar El Bacha- Museum Of Confluences.
The entrance fee to the coffee house is 10 dirham. The cost for the museum is 100 dirham. You can buy tickets at the entrance.
I had a wonderful hot chocolate and churros which was priced at just less than £10 which I felt was not expensive.
The service was great, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful but remember it’s a big tourist hot spot and can get very busy. A recommended place to visit as it bring lots of elegance and history to your visit to Marrakech.Written February 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leanne H6 contributionsA really nice experience in a beautifully designed and curated space. we had to get a taxi ride to the gallery but it was well worth it. We were very blessed and ended up being the only people in the gallery which made the experience feel intimate and quite profound as the building is incredible.
I like art but wouldnt say im a full blown art connoisseur or anything like that. I didn't realise/think that the artist in residences work - Joël Andrianomearisoa would be the whole gallery. At the time i was hoping to see other artists work as well. Joel has a style that did not/has not initially resonated with me fully, but i'm open to revising my thoughts and exploring where they might lead, which im guessing is the point of contemporary art.
staff were kind, space was truly epic and the gardens felt touched special energy vibration. i recommend taking of your shoes and feeling the grass between your toes and listening to the birdsWritten March 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ANM13 contributionsWow, what a delightful discovery! We stumbled upon this museum quite unexpectedly and it was a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. A unique collection of beautiful clothing and jewellery is lovingly and thoughtfully presented. We have never been anywhere quite like it (the closest comparison we have is the V&A in London for the sheer joy of presenting beautiful things). Don’t miss it - or the gorgeous rooftop terrace!Written April 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- A b1 contributionThe Gnawa museum gives you an incredible experience with history, live music and a spiritual experience where you can dive into the mysticism of this fascinating culture and music.
We were greeted by a friendly environment, and served tea and sweets during the concert, interacting with the dance and music, while experiencing world class level musicians. Of all the weeks we stayed in Morocco, the Gnawa museum was the cultural highlight!
Gnawa music has inspired greats from Jimi Hendrix to Rolling Stones, and the museum is a testament to the cultural significance and esoteric transcendental state that this music gives. Highly recommend everyone to go there when in Marrakech, it’s a MUST DO!Written March 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
