We really enjoyed the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. There are lots of displays and informative information and also a couple of videos to watch. I would definitely recommend a visit.

If you are looking for a wonderful coffee experience while in Marrakech, look no further than this coffee shop.
It’s a beautiful experience even if you don’t drink coffee, which I don’t 😀 with a shop next door where you can buy wonderful coffees. A must visit if you’ve left someone at home who loves coffee ☕️

It’s a very popular activity in Marrakesh and opens at 10am, be sure to be there by 9.30am and get to the front of the queue to avoid the very long ( 2 hours plus) queues once it opens.

Dar El Bacha coffee house is located in the heart of the city and is part of the same building as Dar El Bacha- Museum Of Confluences.
The entrance fee to the coffee house is 10 dirham. The cost for the museum is 100 dirham. You can buy tickets at the entrance.

I had a wonderful hot chocolate and churros which was priced at just less than £10 which I felt was not expensive.

The service was great, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful but remember it’s a big tourist hot spot and can get very busy. A recommended place to visit as it bring lots of elegance and history to your visit to Marrakech.

The oldest museum in Marrakech set in a 19th century palace. The official name is the Museum of Moroccan Arts and with a 70 dirham entrance fee it is well worth a visit. See some of Marrakech's oldest objects, including Berber jewelry, rugs, and many antiquities.

The museum isn’t perfect as others have said, there is a lack of English information but it’s in a nice building with an amazing metal chandelier and is only 50MAD entry.

It’s a nice small museum in the middle of the Medina. You can easily get there with Google Maps. Entre is 50dhs (around 5 euros per person) and you go by yourself. It’s a Museum in a Riad. Nice and interesting. Was our first time ever learning about perfume making. The “tour” takes around 30/45 min and at the end you can make your own perfum. You can select the fragrances and make your own. Price depends on the kind of fragrances you choose. We end up not making our own. Was a nice visit overall.

We very much enjoyed the gardens but they are busy, with lots of people looking for a selfie moment. The Berber culture museum was fascinating and not too big as to be overwhelming. YSL museum had some wonderful clothes which track the fashion over the years. Also recommend the cafe next door to the YSL museum- it feels as if you are still sitting in the Jardin

I really fell for this house. Without knowing this wonderful house was located there, I always wanted to follow the small aisle there, instead of going to the Riad I was staying. When I arrived, the owner was there as well and I, with two people from Germany, received a private tour. The stories the carpets tell are amazing. I would definitely go back and enjoy it once again!

Well worth a visit and you get a free pass to the photography museum. You will struggle to find 5hem without your maps! Some really unusual instruments with historical information and held in an amazing building. The top floor even has some that visitors are allowed to try out. Wasn’t busy when we visited and you can just wander around all the unusual rooms. We had a half day for both museums and just found our own way there

This is a private little museum dedicated to the culture and life of indigenous Berber people. It’s housed in a charming and typically Moroccan riad and displays hundreds of artefacts used by nomadic tribes living in north west Africa. Exhibition is designed to show the Morocco’s connection to sub-Saharan Africa as if you’re following an ancient trade route from Marrakech to Timbuktu. Some may say it is one of the little hidden gems of Marrakech which may be true, however it feels a bit cramped and would definitely benefit from clear English descriptions, as they come only in French. Even though one can get a simple guide printed in English, it’s difficult to find clear information about particular objects on display, so again it’d be better to have even short but clear descriptions corresponding with each artefact. The place is certainly worth a visit.

Beautifully done mix of chemistry, Moroccan history and modern day practices, and the highest reaches of religious thought.

This is a small museum containing a private collection of modern art - about 100 works dating back through the past century. It is interesting. The gardens at the back of the museum are really lovely, especially the fascinating "jardin sec". Well worth the visit. A taxi from Marrakech centre will cost about 100 dh each way and it is wise to have the driver to wait for you because it will not be easy to pick up a taxi here.

We came for a cooking class as part of a Gate 1 Discovery tour and had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing…so friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time preparing the food and everyone enjoyed the chicken tagine as the main course of our dinner. Lamia was a great facilitator and instructor. For our meal, Ayoub took great care of us and was such a pleasure. Thank you to the Moroccan Culinary Arts Museum for a fantastic evening!

There's no doubt that the building is the main attraction here. The paintings were good, but the building, including an old hammam, was stunning.

There was nobody there when we were there (around 11 a.m.), so that was a positive too. In the past, the main hall was open to the skies. It's now roofed over. I feel it would be nicer if it was open again.

We spent around half an hour wandering around. It was boiling when we were in Marrakech. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer.

A really nice experience in a beautifully designed and curated space. we had to get a taxi ride to the gallery but it was well worth it. We were very blessed and ended up being the only people in the gallery which made the experience feel intimate and quite profound as the building is incredible.

I like art but wouldnt say im a full blown art connoisseur or anything like that. I didn't realise/think that the artist in residences work - Joël Andrianomearisoa would be the whole gallery. At the time i was hoping to see other artists work as well. Joel has a style that did not/has not initially resonated with me fully, but i'm open to revising my thoughts and exploring where they might lead, which im guessing is the point of contemporary art.

staff were kind, space was truly epic and the gardens felt touched special energy vibration. i recommend taking of your shoes and feeling the grass between your toes and listening to the birds
