- Stephanie SKailua-Kona, HI6 contributionsBeautiful shop with really helpful people. Muhammad was very helpful and I can’t wait to try my products and use them in my spa.Written March 23, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris PAlicante, Spain149 contributionsLovely, cozy little shop with genuine products and non-pushy staff. We felt super well treated and bought quite some products. The nice owner even offered us tea (before we bought anything).Written December 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pascal3 contributionsThe place is amazing and live, all kinds of activities are available for both children and adults. We really enjoyed our time at the M avenue.Written October 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Heli PHelsinki, Finland7,684 contributionsNew desings in natural straw are sold all over this small square which now hosts also several restaurants. The heavy traffic nearby has been restricted making the environment more pleasant. There is a local market at the corner selling fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, olives, herbs.Written May 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Don't go out your way to visit, unless you want AC, a burger or a coffee at CostaWritten February 7, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We visited to see what the thing was all about and it was very similar to other such markets. Many stalls selling a huge range of stuff. Prices can be whatever you want them to be! If you really want something then you should bargain. Start at a low price although you will first be asked to pay a price which is extraordinarily high. Keep bargaining until they agree to your offer. Try to walk away and if they chase you then they are willing to drop their price further. An interesting place if you have nothing better.Written June 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BrookeMoralesLondon, UK2,084 contributionsYou could spend hours in this very large souk. Here you will find pretty much everything from food and spices, to jewellery, clothes and carpets. Bargaining is a must. Enjoy!Written March 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Patricia BrennanOrte, Italy191 contributionsThis is a small museum containing a private collection of modern art - about 100 works dating back through the past century. It is interesting. The gardens at the back of the museum are really lovely, especially the fascinating "jardin sec". Well worth the visit. A taxi from Marrakech centre will cost about 100 dh each way and it is wise to have the driver to wait for you because it will not be easy to pick up a taxi here.Written March 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AliNewEnglandManchester, NH10 contributionsLovely small hassle & haggle free shop right next to the Secret Garden with plenty of fabrics and colors to choose from. I wish I wore scarves so I could have justified buying more than the two I needed for the trip! I paid about $20 US for each and was happy to do so. You won’t regret it!Written July 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James h2 contributionsAlot of shops, like any holiday shop keeper try get you to buy but easy to bring down in price, be careful of people trying to pose as your guides just looking for money of youWritten March 6, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - iamfaceCardiff, UK1,809 contributionswhen we 1st time go into area of food stalls that is a bit annoying as they non-stop talk to you and try to block you road. although we ignore them but still can't to have time to watch a bit detailed. since we just look and dont try at the 1st night so that we escape and don't do anything at here
next night i do it by myself and just wore my slippers and don't take any backpack/bag outside and walk alone. seem that less bother me when i walk the food stalls again on 2nd night. so that i could do my planning to eat some goat face, snails and morocco herbs with cake more easily. and i just pick stalls that has many local or Arabic spoken for eating and back end result is not bad. fair price with tasty food.Written February 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some good shops however still open. Adidas outlet is really good. Miniso has some cheap novelties. Couple of cheap clothes stores as well as some more expensive. Supermarket on lower level aswell. Some restaurants on top floor but again most looked like they had stopped trading. I would recommend it for those who like outlet sport shops as there was another one selling nike etc aswell. However dont put yourself out to come here and expect anything amazing. Managed to get some great Adidas trainers for a fraction of the price (fakes in the medina were the same price as the real ones!) So look here first before buying fakes.Written October 29, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robert ORotterdam, The Netherlands6,762 contributionsFor those who are into markets, the Bab el Khemis area is perhaps attractive. There is a flea market operating every day. However, for the average traveller the area is not very appealing. There is hardly any shade, except for the hall where furniture is sold (and repaired or even made). The old Almovarid gate itself is of historic interest, though you are looking at a 19th century restored version, not to say replica (not bad).Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
