We are an elderly couple touring Morocco by car. Quite by chance we came across somebody who recommended using Mohammed as a tour guide in Fez. What a brilliant “chance”. Mohammed was amazing, personable, very knowledgable (having been born and raised in Fez) and very considerate of our age. He went at a slower pace but kept us going so that we felt we had a real experience of Fez as a city. He found us seats when he could, a good coffee stop, an excellent lunch but also included so many of the ‘attractions’ we didn’t feel our age had been a handicap. We had a wonderful day, exhausted but in a nice way, and would thoroughly recommend him as a guide for anybody.

This was a wonderful and thoughtful tour. Mohammad took the time to explain the history of Fez, gave us great insight as to the daily lives of people in Morocco, and he was professional and kind. This was a cultural tour and we got to see all the beautiful sites of Fez. We saw a panoramic view of Fez, walked around the medina, saw the oldest University in the world, and got to learn that Fez founded the first mental health hospital in the world. We love to learn and this tour did not disappoint. It exceeded our expectations.

Most importantly, Mohammad was true to his word, this was NOT A SHOPPING TOUR. We appreciated this so much because my only criticism about Fez was the constant pushiness of unqualified tour guides. Mohammad was professional and focused on the history and culture and never once took us to a shop to purchase anything. He had the right pace when we walked around the city, which allowed me to take a crazy amount of photos and to take our time browsing the buildings and stores. He answered all of our questions and was patient with us when we wanted more time to explore a site. I highly recommend Mohammad. We felt safe, learned a lot, and most importantly, we felt like we made a new friend.

It was what it says. A really good look at Fes. Abdul knew all the locations,, alleyways and places to see, with a very good narration of history, architecture, society and life in a Medina. He was able to take us behind the doors.

This was my first time visiting Morocco, and Waj made it an experience that I will never forget. I reached out to Waj about 1-2 months prior to my scheduled trip (April 30th-May 5th) to help me set up a custom 6-day/5-night itinerary. Waj was very prompt in his response and quickly provided a full-fledged itinerary.

    My trip was as follows:

    - Day 1: pick up from Casablanca airport, sightseeing in Casablanca, drive to Chefchaouen, spend night at Lina Ryad and Spa (best accommodation in Chefchaouen)

    - Day 2: complimentary breakfast at Lina Ryad, walking tour with local guide in Chefchaouen, drive to Fes, walking tour with local guide in Fes, spend night at Palais Faraj (amazing accommodation)

    - Day 3: complimentary breakfast at Palais Faraj, drive to Merzouga (Sahara Desert) with lots of beautiful stops along the way - crossing the high atlas mountains, feeding monkeys, Moroccan grand canyon, and more - arrive to Merzouga and take camel ride to the luxury tent (I opted to rent a 1-hour dune buggy instead), spend night in Orient Luxury Camp with complimentary dinner, berber music, bon fire, stargazing

    - Day 4: woke up to watch sunrise in the desert, complimentary breakfast, drive to Ait Ben Haddou / Ouarzazate with stops at Todgha Gorge and Dades Gorge, spend night at Kasbah Tebi with complimentary dinner (note: no lights, all candlelit)

    - Day 5: complimentary breakfast followed by walking tour around the Kasbah, drive to Marrakech, walking tour with local guide, explore night market, spend night at Riad Kaiss

    - Day 6: complimentary breakfast at Riad Kaiss, relaxed at Riad in morning, went to Alphais Spa for a 4-hour hammam+massage+facial+mani+pedi, drive to Casablanca airport

    Accommodations:

Chefchaouen - Lina Ryad & Spa (room type = Suite)
Fez - Palais Faraj Suites & Spa (room type = Classic Double Room)
    Merzouga - Orient Luxury Camp
Ait ben Haddou - Kasbah Tebi (room type = Deluxe Double Room)
Marrakech : Riad Kaiss (room type = Suite)

    Total cost: 2260 Euro
(note: I requested nicer accommodations in Fes and Marrakech, which increased the total cost of the trip from 2000 Euro to 2260 Euro)

    Included:
    5 nights accommodations, 5 Breakfasts
, 2 Dinners
, Private Transportation from start to the end of tour, Hotel/Airport pickup and drop off
, City walking tours with local guides of Chefchaoeun, Fes, and Marrakech, Local City Taxes
, and Road Tolls

    Excluded:
    Drinks
, Lunches, 1-hour Dune Buggy (note: 800 MAD), Alphais Spa (note: I booked this myself - 1400 MAD / ~133 Euro for 4-hours)

Waj made this an experience I will never forget. He is an amazing guide with ~15 years of experience, and even more so a wonderful person. He made me feel comfortable and at ease during the entire trip. He even invited me to have Iftar dinner with his parents in Oued Laou. I highly recommend his services to anyone interested in traveling to Morocco.

I only had one free day in Fez and this was the perfect tour. This tour makes you feel like Fez can easily be done in one day without feeling rushed and run around like crazy. We hit all the important things to see.

Most importantly, my guide, Hakim, completely tailored to my interest and always checked in to get feedback on whether I was interested in seeing x, y or z. He didn't do the thing where guides just take to you places or shops you might not be interested in and then feel pressure to shop.

He was really knowlegeable about the city, as he grew up in the Medina and even as we strolled around the streets and alleys, alot of locals would say hi to him by name. You get a real local experience.

This was a perfect length and pace of a tour for me.

It was one of the best experiences through which I got to know Moroccan cuisine in all its forms with the best chefs, so that you will spend the day amazed by the beauty of this diverse cuisine, and best of all, you will spend the day with the best person you can go through this experience with, so you will not feel bored even for a moment.

Oh what a day we had! Our wonderful guide Kamal shared his vast knowledge of all things Fez. We learned so much but more importantly had a fabulous day. Kamal was delightful, funny and full of interesting facts. We covered a tremendous amount of ground. If we were in Fez for days and days we wouldn’t have seen all the secret and well known sights Kamal shared with us!
A must do when visiting Fez!

I had the pleasure of taking the Ancient Medina walking tour with Berrada Travel and it was an unforgettable experience. Our private guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Fes, and his insights and explanations really brought the city to life for us. We were able to explore the winding streets and bustling markets of the Medina at a leisurely pace, and our guide was always happy to stop and answer our questions or point out interesting details that we might have otherwise missed. The tour was also customized to our interests, which made it feel truly personalized and tailored to our needs.

My sister and I absolutely loved our tour. Our tour guide, Fuad, knew English, Spanish, and Arabic so we were able to talk to him in English and Spanish and he could speak to locals in Arabic and teach us some words too. He was very knowledgeable about Fez and all the best places to visit for hand made goods. He grew up in the Medina so he knew the place like the back of his hand. The Medina in Fez can be very overwhelming as a tourist and he made us feel very safe and comfortable. He knew shortcuts and was very patient about us taking pictures and taking time to shop and asking for us to get good prices. He was super respectful and friendly at the same time I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I recommend 100%

When visiting Morocco, we were very tempted to buy some souvenirs. But we needed someone trustworthy to help with the quality and the prices. Abdou Rahim was just the right guy. He was really amazing. We got everything we wanted for local prices. This on top of an excellent tour of the Medina of Fes. Highly recommended!
