What travelers are saying
- katCiudad Quesada, Spain28 contributionsBeautiful gardens , loved all of the cobolt blue accessories and the house was a beautiful contrast against the greenery . It was very busy, we had to que for a while even though we had a ticket and entry time . It was worth visiting, some tranquility amongst the outside chaos which is everywhere in Marrakesh.Written January 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - calgaryguyKelowna, Canada474 contributionsWhat a crazy place! So easy to get turned around! But what colour, what excitement, what hustle and bustle. Lots to see and shopping is easy if you wish, but I kept my wallet well hidden. Can't believe the crowds and the motorcycles driving through the people. Strange to a Canadian but an absolute must visit place.Written January 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherpa388459887513 contributionsVisiting Bahia Palace was an incredible experience! The palace is absolutely stunning, with its beautiful courtyards, intricate mosaics, and impressive architecture. The gardens are peaceful and offer a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. We loved exploring the rooms, especially the grand reception hall, which was filled with amazing details. The calm atmosphere and rich history of the place made it a memorable part of our trip. Started in the 9th century most of the growth occurred in the 12th and 13th centuries. Madrasas, fondouks, mosques, and palaces as well as the souks can all be found here. - Iain_JHoyland, UK81 contributionsReally enjoyed our visit…spent around 2 hours looking around and probably only saw half of the stalls.
It is quite expensive though, with clothing and food a lot more than the shops / stalls in Agadir itself.Written January 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KatielouAustraliaHobart, Australia2,038 contributionsThis mosque was built in 1162 and is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. The spacious courtyard can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Its name means Mosque of the Booksellers because of the numerous book stands that surrounded the Mosque when it was first built. The highlight is the magnificent minaret that is nearly 70m high. Non-Muslims cannot enter the mosque.Written December 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
