Tucked up in the high country, the setting was relaxing with cool breezes and sounds of nature. Courtney was my masseuse for a prenatal massage and was absolutely wonderful, definitely one of the best parts of our baby moon! - Dean Z12 contributionsI’ve been to many high end spas and this is one (if not the) best. From the moment you walk, you’re surrounded by genuine, first-class hospitality. I ended up enjoying my massage so much that I came back for a second treatment. The space is wonderfully spacious and I felt I had the entire place to myself even though it was the peak of the holiday season. Andrea was my massage therapist and it was incredible. I felt she was attentive to identifying each ache, pain and point of tension and went above and beyond to make it a perfect experience. I went back two days later and had a pedicure by Brenda - best I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding and I was encouraged to stay the whole day. - sjrbtChicago, IL533 contributionsHotel has been updated nicely. Rooms are generous sized with separate sleeping/ sitting area. I don’t think there is a room with a bad view with the exception of the ground floor. That being said— the couch is very uncomfortable from the fabric to the position you must sit ( upright and rigid), the bedding is a bit scratchy and the bed overall isn’t that comfortable. We did not sleep well.
We did not have one good restaurant experience on the property and the over pricing is excessive. $9 for a Coke. $22 for a mixed drink.
The drink didn’t bother me as much as the Coke.
Service at the pool was exceptional.
The beach was also incredible.
This property is not in the category of Four Seasons or Ritz, but it’s above a Westin/ Marriott. It would get much higher marks for better restaurants and food. ( to be fair- we didn’t eat at Nicks). Paul, the owner, is nothing short of a stand up guy who embodies the Maui way of life. If you love working out and are in Maui for a day, week month you’re selling yourself short not to sign up and work out at this gym. The have a full weight room, CrossFit and cardio room for every individuals needs and fitness goals. Thanks again Paul for the hospitality and the awesome shirts and hats!!! They are completely private, but 3 sides open to hear the outdoors and feel a breeze. It’s peaceful with the sound of water from a fountain nearby. The massages are great. I love the Lomi lomi. Some massages I would give 5/5 a few 4.5/5 but all were wonderful. They have a great sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, relaxing garden you can enjoy before and after. The pool has an ocean view. The staff is always wonderful. They make you feel like you are the only one there. I always leave here feeling wonderful. Use of fragrant oils, hot lava stones, and a firm and personal approach was great. - Susie H1 contributionI just had the most amazing massage with Eric. It was a total body experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to relax and unwind while on Maui. He was very professional and intuitive to the needs of my body. If you are shy about having a male - don’t be. You would really be missing out on a fantastic massage.

I love Eminence products so that was a plus out of the gate for my facial. If I am going to pay for a spa facial I want the whole experience (robe, sandals, locker area, place to relax etc) This Westin was walkable from my hotel and offered a clean, well executed spa experience. I had a fantastic 50 min facial followed by a glass of Champagne they provide (nice touch!) and rooftop area with infinity pool to relax in afterward. This ran about $20 more than local competitors but was well worth the extra spend as the Westin does not miss a beat. I appreciated the short discussion about what I do and don't like, and current issues before we got started. I had a horrible knot in my neck that she worked out (relief!) Her room was comfortable- not too warm or cold- and everything was clean.
