Puuo Kila Waimea
#2 of 61 Sights & Landmarks in Kauai
Here you will find another lookout area and a hiking path that give unobstructed views of some of the most beautiful cliffs, mountain tops, green valleys and the Pacific Ocean you will ever see.
There's a nice easily accessible lookout area or there's a trail that goes along the ridge above the Na Pali coast that's a little more challenging to hike but it's even better to view the coast from.
Kalalau Lookout
#3 of 61 Sights & Landmarks in Kauai
There is little shade, so bring a hat, water and prepare to sweat, A LOT! I can honestly say that while the Kalalau Lookout was amazing, the Kalepa Ridge trail provided the most stunning views I have ever seen for...
The view is always gorgeous but if you are lucky enough to hit it on a clear day where the sun is out, and the clouds are just right, it is absolutely stunning!

#5 of 61 Sights & Landmarks in Kauai
It has a fun trail, it is strenuous enough to provide exercise, and it has excellent views from the summit (the Giant's "head") and from a nearby outcrop (the Giant's "chin").
So when you start you go through giant trees and you climb, and climb..... you are in the woods for most of the hike but when you get to the end, the view is just WOW!
