Hanapepe is well worth visiting for the range of galleries, a variety of food options and this first-class bookstore.
The whole Tibet town of Hanapepe is charming, with a french sandwich spot, artist studios, the swinging bridge - just a mile off the route to Waimea.

With stands selling practically any tropical fruit that your heart desires, succulents, and food trucks including the Hanalei Taro and Juice Co. that sells plate lunches, fresh taro, and poi, it is one stop shopping.
We always shop farmers markets when we're in Hawaii, and this is one we've missed in the past.

In our time in the Princeville area, we've found this to be by far the most interesting, professional, thoughtful gallery and shop there is.
The gifts here are unique, I got both my wife and mom their pearl necklaces here and an authenitic tiki.
