    Review of: 1/2 Day Kona Sportfishing Charter
    Beautiful ocean
    The Captain was good with great directions and answering my questions. The boat was nice with a bathroom and water and snacks. We brought some beverages and sandwiches. The view everywhere is amazing and the crew did everything they could to get us a fish but no luck. Just being on the ocean is amazing. Better luck next time.

    Review of: Full Day Sportsman/Enthusiast Charter
    5 star, professional and down to earth
    Captain Shawn and Deckhand Cyan were awesome! Our second time doing a private charter, and he made sure we caught our fish. We caught 2 Ono. They even filleted the fish when we got back and gave us a huge amount to keep us fed through the week. If you are in Kona and want to fish, Kona Cowboy Sportfishing is definitely a must!

    Review of: Half Day Morning Charter
    Good times!
    This was my first time deep sea fishing, and I had a blast. Within the first 10 minutes out on the water we caught our first Ono, and ended up catching 4 total! Captain Shawn and Sawyer definitely know their stuff, and went out of their way to provide us with a great experience. Highly recommend Kona Cowboy Sportfishing!

    Review of: 3/4 Day Fishing Charter
    Fish On!
    Amazing from start to end! Right out of the harbor we hooked a Omilu! (very rare) It wasn’t long before we hooked and landed a beautiful Ono! We had the freshest fish for dinner, breakfast, and lunch! Chilling up top with Captain Shawn is definitely the way to see the coast. My wife and I had a great time getting to know him and we got a lot of inside knowledge of the Big Island. Our deckhand Si was as good as they come. He made sure everything was set perfect and paid close attention to detail. I live in a fishing community in Southeast Alaska and I can’t recommend Kona Cowboy fishing charters enough!

    Review of: Private Deep Sea Fishing Charter (8 Hours)
    Amazing experience with Captain Kimo
    This has been by far the best fishing charter that I have experienced. Our first trip had to be unfortunately cancelled due to extremely poor weather conditions, but captain Kimo met my wife and I at the harbor to explain that the conditions were dangerous to be out in. Captain Kimo went to the local office with us to reschedule our trip to a better day. Our next two trips out with him were nothing short of a first class trip. The captain did everything from explaining safety before entering the seas to helping us catch all of our fish and even went out of his way to clean and package our catch!!!! He taught me how to clean mahi mahi and tuna properly. Along our guided charter, Captain Kimo showed us the routes along the sea for whale watching, taught us how to safely operate a charter boat, took pictures for us and many other unforgettable experiences!! Thank you for everything that you do and for our amazing Hawai’i experience!!
