This is certainly a road to travel and the scenery is magical and mysterious. Would highly recommend travelling on this to enjoy the extreme countryside. So enjoyable.

Great views nearby. When you visit- get away from the main area and view the cliffs. The actual South Point spot is a bit dirty and the views are ok. But very close by are spectacular views.

Large, not crowded beach near the airport was the perfect place to spend our waining hours on the Big Island. The beach wasn't crowded and has restroom facilities. We found ourselves not ready to turn our car in and hang out at the airport, so we stopped by Wawaloli. There are lots of tide pools to explore here, so we could enjoy our final time on the trip near the ocean without getting wet. My daughter loved climbing the rocks and exploring

Getting to the top of the crater doesn't take much time. It was raining and super foggy when I went, but still very cool. There are multiple paths you can take to the top and through the forest. Lots of birds there as well

Its probably great for locals, but if you are a tourist from anywhere outside of the US, its practically impossible to purchase more than a day pass or single ride. We wanted to buy the $20 for 300 minute option, which can't be done from a kiosk. The website only takes US addresses, and the address has to match your credit card address. On top of that, the site says that you need to contact them to get a bike card for that option, which I'm assuming would have to be mailed to you as the head office is in Honolulu. So really not a great tourist option unless you just want the odd ride. The Biki bikes on Oahu are so much better run and tourist friendly!! We love riding them.
