Booked a tour with Hang Loose to see the Manta rays. It was the most epic experience! The crew was to notch! They were very informative, made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what they were doing.
We got in the water and nothing minutes the rays were right underneath us doing backflips and passing right by us….inches away.
Don’t miss this experience and make sure you book with Hang Loose. It’s the best!

Great day out of Kona Big Island, clear skies and calm waves, a big cry from the previous days with high winds and clouds.
We saw a mama humpback whale with her newly born calf, bonding moments. The mama whale did one deep dive to show her tail, enough for all to see her spotless white fluke.
No other humpback whales around as it is already late in the birthing season. Most have already left with their newborns for their feeding grounds.
Best to go in January thru early March.
We did however see the spinner dolphins when we returned to the marina.

Kalvin was a great tour guide, learned so much about the sites and Hawaii in general. We would for sure recommend to anyone visiting the big island.

Eric and Chip were great. We enjoyed being in a smaller group and on pontoon boat. We saw an amazing variety of fish. Captain Eric made me feel safe even in the water. I was swimming back to the boat and became very tired so he brought the boat to me. I lost sight of my husband in another group of snorkelers but he spotted him easily. The sights and ride were great!

This was awesome, a must go if you’re ever on the big island. Cole and Chris were awesome, brought great vibes and brought the overrall experience to another level. The manta rays literally get “lickable” as Cole states when they go past you and your group. 10/10 A+++

Beautiful setting, tucked away from the rest of the resort. Purchased preferred seating to guarantee closer proximity of the entertainment. Table was dedicated to our party which was nice, but service appeared to be dedicated to larger preferred seating parties. We were asked one time if we needed anything and were only offered what was left on the servers tray. The hula dancers, musicians, and host were all very good which made up for poor service. Food was marginal buffet style, and the serving of the pork was a gloved hand plopping a ‘ball’ of the pork on your plate. Rather unappetizing. The entertainment was the highlight.

WOW! Truly an amazing experience and definitely worth doing if on the Big Island. We went up last evening 3/25 with our kids, ages 16 & 13. We had a beautiful evening - no clouds in sky, not windy, perfect stargazing conditions. Plus Kilauea was doing her thing again so we saw the glow from the volcano. Bonus! All the guys - Jamie, our driver to exchange point and Mitch & Zach, our guides up to Mauna Kea, were wonderful and made the experience a fun one. Their knowledge of the volcano, island & stars was great and you could tell they love what they do - which made the experience even better!!! Along with the coats!!!! Love the coats. :-)

Very friendly staff. As it was my first time in a helicopter, I was glad that they took safety seriously. Instructions were very good. Toured the volcano area as much as we could. There was weather near the caldera so we couldn’t fly directly over it. However our pilot Jim gave us a good overview of the park and then took us to the river and the waterfalls. After that he took us along the coast. Highly recommend. My husband was thrilled.

Parking was pretty tight because of Spring Break. We had a 7:00 fitting, then showed at the bay at 7:20, and parked at 7:25 way up the street. We felt a little late, but we ended up having plenty of time as we didn’t board the boat until at least 7:45. Shelly, Nate, Bryce, Captain and Crew were great. We saw many Maya rays and enjoyed the guide’s commentary. The experience exceeded expectations throughout. Location, location, location—just 5 minutes from the manta rays back to the dock. Light jackets for the return trip were very nice to have. Back at the car at 8:50. Perfect.

This was my first zip-line experience (I'm 73!) and it was fantastic. The views were incredible and the zipping exfiltrating. The guides were very friendly and helpful always paying attention to our safety. The triple waterfall is also beautiful.
