The sellers were pretty rude but they had all sorts of fruits and veggies. I learned about white pineapples… they are very expensive. About $45usd per. Didn’t try one because of the price but I was told that they taste the same. It’s a tiny little market on the corner of this street. The city that it’s in is very busy and there’s a lot of things to do.

Saturday’s Waimea Town Market satisfied my appetite.
One vendor sold me a double Kona espresso to go with the Mexican tamales.
I watched people forming a long line to buy fresh baked goods, while I ate my tamales.
A cheese vendor sold me a variety of sample size pieces of goat cheese to eat later, while driving. I purchased pineapple, papayas, and lemons for dinner.

A good place to stock up on some local fruits and vegetables. Get there early in the morning for the best selection. Some booths sold out before we got there. Parking was not a problem during our visit. No public bathrooms. Prices seemed to be reasonable as compared to grocery stores. Cash only.

We enjoyed visiting this market. Due to Covid it's on the small side. The vendors had nice quality produce and products.

Phenomenal fresh produce and amazing art. Everything at the market is local. The parking was a bit tricky, but worth it!

It’s a misnomer to call this a Farmer’s Market when there is just 1 location that actually sells from grown produce and fruits. There are a couple other vendors selling locally produced jellies and honey but other than that it’s just a few local artisans trying to sell their work. It took us all of 10 minutes (if that) to wander through. It’s as if the purpose of this “Farmer’s” Market is to get people to wander into the permanent shops on location. Not really impressed

Waimea Midweek Farmers Market at Parker Ranch was busy at 10:00 am
I bought a pineapple and bananas.
The red barn food truck caught my attention. I ate a crispy sandwich of sautéed greens and cheese ( the green garden )

We stopped here on our way back from hiking in Waipio Valley. It was a great little market with some booths selling raw fruits and veggies, while others were preparing food to eat on site. There were some picnic tables where we enjoyed a lunch plate along with some pastries from Kaai and Soo-ling Delights which was so delicious. Highly recommend!

This is a short tour but we’ll worth the stop especially if you like abalone. You get to see a working farm, touch the abalone and get to taste them afterwards.

Parking tight, but plenty of it. Just a gem of a farmers market. It has everything. Plenty of local artists, bakers, coffee, produce and local cooked to order food choices. Music capped off the perfect mkt. Highly recommend the fresh from fryer banana malsadas. More than we expected.

Outrageous prices! Cold atmosphere. Impersonal. Not affordable at all! The old Malama was much better. We are all paying huge prices for this new building that buzzes loud with 5 G. Not welcoming at all.
