This is good local farmer’s market that, on one side if the street, offers fresh produce and homemade/local arts and crafts on the other side.

My family and I did Greenwell's Deluxe Tour and Tasting and to say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement! Before going to the Big Island I researched 20+ coffee farms that did tours and decided on Greenwell due to it offering both a tasting and tour for such a reasonable price. They keep their tours capped at 6 people which allows you to have a more personalized experience. Our tour guide was incredible! He was so knowledgeable about the process and history of the farm. I loved the size of the farm; not too over industrialized which allowed for us to meet all the wonderful people involved- we even were able to wave to Mr. Greenwell himself. We walked the majority of the grounds and tasted some of the fruit grown throughout while we listened. The tasting at the end was very fun, allowing us to experience some of their Kona coffees in a different way. This was the perfect coffee experience!

Very easy and authentic tour outside of Kona. Delicious coffee with a nature walk/ lava tube experience included. At 3200 ft in a tropical cloud forest makes it truly unique

Been many times, always worth the drive and the entrance fee, which is $10 per person, not $20. Music, grindz, and much aloha.

This was such an interesting experience. Learned a lot and have a better appreciation of what care beekeepers take to ensure the quality of honey and respect for the bees.

The Visitor's Center and the Park itself are terrific, without a doubt, and Volcano Art Center Gallery is right up there in terms of seeing and better understanding the beauty of the volcanoes and nature in general. It does not take a lot of time, and is well worth the visit to see the high caliber work of local and regional artists.

Volcano Garden Arts was founded by Ira Ono, a former New Yorker who went to Hawaii and never left. We were greeted with a glass of wine, Ira's attentive staff, and Ira himself. The art gallery was very well curated and pieces and jewelry were easy to see and well-displayed. Our group from a NCL cruise ship were treated with wonderful camaraderie. Even though I don't buy much jewelry anymore, a unique piece of fabric art caught my eye. I knew the necklace would match a set of earrings I had back on the ship. Ira also sold sets but this was the color for me. Other nice objets d'art and art, all locally designed and crafted. Really beautiful gallery and such a nice experience. The wine was good, too!

Great free coffee tour at a unique Kona coffee farm with peekaboo ocean views! Tasting costs money but is reasonably prices (there are two free roasts to try inside). Make sure to look at the website and read the instructions for getting there!

Variety of local produce, cooked food and hand crafted items. I had a shrimp crepe and my husband got lumpia. Both delicious. We also got a whole talapia and vegetables for a home cooked dinner. Lots of baked goods also. Prices were reasonable. Also some mushroom vegan jerky. Who knew there was such a thing and it was yummy. Had to get a bag.

The setting is gorgeous and therefore worth a stop, but highly recommend the guided tour that includes the roasting experience. Learned a lot, and it was great to roast our own coffee using a roaster we got to set, monitor, and finish ourselves. All the staff were lovely. Felt it was well worth the price for an experience that was approx 90 minutes of personalized learning.

We were staying at the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Club.........very close to the Island Gourmet store....but after seeing their prices, we decided to try Foodland Farms at The Shops at Mauna Lani instead. SO glad that we did!

Very friendly staff, better pricing, and a great variety of wines, deli items, produce, and local items. Definitely worth a stop!

Going to this gallery was an amazing experience as a new photographer. I had admired Bruce’s work and was so happy to be able to meet him!! He even took the time to talk out his story and what it has been like. Thank you so so much all the way from New York, Bruce! The tangerines were delicious too! 🌴

Awesome market with great artists and farm vendors! I love that it is 100% Big Island artist and farmers. I enjoy the live music with the sitting area. It can be hot, but that's Hawaii!

They are open Wed & Fri 9am-2pm. Parking is always easy to get, even when it is busy.

I also loved walking over the the harbor and its beautiful turquoise colors!

Definitely recommend to anyone in the area or driving through. Great place to shop and eat local!

This place is great, the tour was interesting and so much fun, we drove off road vehicles through the farm, and in addition to coffee plants we saw fruit trees and lots of animals including mini horses and very friendly goats. After the tour we got to taste coffees, teas, honey that they make on the farm, cookies and macadamia nuts. We also had a long visit with a very chatty rescue parrot on the property. Our tour guide Shamara, was great, and she really made the trip for us!
