We had a lovely hour here after just spotting it on a drive - beautiful property, shop and family that own it; tasting 5 different honeys was fascinating and love that we are still enjoying it at home!
They also have delicious samples of honey at the end of the tour, along with a gift shop with many choices of honey to choose from for yourself or for gifts.

We had a great tour guide who explained everything about making coffee; you can sample all their flavours and purchase coffee and tea from their shop on-site.
After a beautiful drive up the mountain to a cloud rainforest you come upon a small coffee farm offering a free talk and short tour of their coffee operation .

Also, they are located near a cute little downtown area with offbeat, vintage, and artsy shops and restaurants which is a refreshing change from the chain stores found near the resort.
We took a tour with Monica she was shy but she did a great job and Kara in the gift shop she answered all our questions you could see her passion about coffee with each question she asked.

This place is becoming more and more popular among locals and tourist and has a great variety to offer in terms of local and ethnic food, stalls with local products for sale from a variety of vendors.
In addition to veggies and produce, you can also find plants, artwork, clothing, jewelry, hot lunches, pastries, and random items/flea market-type items.

It's worth the drive for the sandwiches, Malasadas and the gift shop, plus you can take some home with you too! Pastry lover's paradise!
We were happy to find loaves of bread at Walmart to take home for souvenirs but definitely worth a trip to the actual bakery.

Located in an industrial area near Costco and the airport, this cookie shop makes the best chocolate-dipped (milk or dark) shortbread cookies.
So with the savings you get from Costco on gas, liquor and other basics, splurge on some Mrs. Barry’s Kona Cookies.
