What travelers are saying
- JM SATegucigalpa, Honduras13 contributionsExcellent place to spend a journey! Maybe, it needs more public transportation, so more people and tourists can visit it.
Ticket prices are fair and the place is secure. Just bring your own food because you might not find anything good to eat. However, there are several places that offer good coffee. So you will be fine with that part!Written June 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At an altitude of over 5,000 feet it is cool and often shrouded in mists near the top. The trails are perfect for walking and for the most part are well marked but because it is so large a guide is recommended and very inexpensive. This is old growth cloud forest with a huge variety of plants, flowers, orchids and wildlife. It particularly is a birders paradise. Spend the day. It is well worth it!Written January 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pablo PazTegucigalpa, Honduras10 contributionsFinca La Cantadora has great views and an even better weather. It was a shame we went and couldn't pick berries. I do think the foodnis over priced and wine isn't very good. Overall it's a nice afternoon activity if you don't have anyrhing to do.Written December 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Queen JCalifornia2,162 contributions~ CLOSED ~
I walked here from the central park, but it is closed off with metal doors and chained with a padlock. I'm not sure if it's Covid- Closed or permanently closed.
It is about a 20 min walk uphill from the central park. If you walk further up the street about 5 min, you'll arrive at Parque La Leona, a small shady park with views of the city.Written September 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The replicas of the Mayan temples and statues of Copán are really quite detailed. I think it's worthy of a quick stroll and some photos.
Unfortunstely, there is garbage on the ground everywhere. There were also some homeless people, but they did not approach me.Written August 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
