What travelers are saying
- TravelandfoodSingapore, Singapore339 contributionsA nice mall with plenty of options for shopping and dining. Does not have enough restrooms for its size. You must walk the entire mall to reach restrooms.Written January 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - trisharaewong44Los Angeles, CA114 contributionsSuper awesome chic plaza with a bunch of restaurants and shops. Very safe establishment with an abundance of security throughout the whole establishment. It was safe to walk there during the day time with my husband from Barcelo hotel. The hardest part of the walk might have been crossing the streets. However at night it looks a bit sketchy, thankfully it was only (at the time of this review) about a 25 Quetzal Uber ride back to Barcelo. If I was staying at El Camino Real hotel I might have walked back since it would have been only a five minute walk.
The best restaurant there might be Little India on the second level they know how to make food really tasty and spicy, better than the UK. Definitely check out the super chic book store also on the second level.
I think this Plaza is perfect for when you’re hungry and have limited time and energy and want something close to your hotel without making a lot of effort. The standard and quality of this plaza in my opinion is nicer than Cayalá.Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of colorful textiles, purses, shirts, tablecloths, napkins, and tons of knickknacks. Most places do take credit cards, but not all. Also, they are less likely to barter if you use a credit card. I didn’t see any bathrooms, so pee before you come. The second floor has lots of merchandise and the bottom floor is primarily food and food stands. Watch your valuables.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- QasemHalifax, Canada333 contributionsThe mall in general was nice, but it was less than average compared to other malls in the city.
The movie theatre was nice, but not many movies were playingWritten January 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s amazing how nice and great their malls are compared to the ones we have in the US. This place has areas opened to the outside so you get to enjoy Guatemala’s great weather and nature while shopping. While this place is considered smaller than others they do have a lot of shopping and dining options. This is a must when in the area.Written May 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- rodrigomezsvSanta Tecla, El Salvador2 contributionsNice, beautiful and big shopping mall with a lot of stores like cemaco, krispy kreme and children friendly big playgrounds.Written August 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fGregorioGuatemala City, Guatemala14 contributionsLast time I went I was surprised to find it looking more like a ghost town. Most shops and restaurants in the food court are closed. There are not that many places still holding it together although if Walmart, cinemas and krispy creme are your thing, you'll find them there.Written March 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adam LIceland48 contributionsParque las americas is a long walking park with monunements dedicated to and donated by other countries in the americas. It was fun to see the disjointedness of it all. Some of the monuments for tiny countries were humongous while larger countries has tiny monuments. We were there on a Saturday night so the locals were out in full force. There is a giant Little Ceaser Pizza shop somewhere towards the middle and I can honestly say I've never seen so many people eating that crappy pizza in one place! But, all things being equal, I'm sure it's a treat and not just gas station food like it is for us tourists. The Uruguay monument had a pedastil that said Artigas but was missing a statue, which is appropriate if you know anything about the "national hero" of Uruguay (he was not from there). I give 5 stars to the Canada monument!Written November 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Millet02Atlanta, GA510 contributionsThe is a variety of beautiful items here, and fairly low key for a tourist shopping area. We were barely hassled at all, and enjoyed our walk through.Written May 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
