- Myo MCoquitlam, Canada27,196 contributionsJust one of a "modest stature" is how I would describe this brick cathedral (with not two but just one tower and no high & wide front facade or such) but which yet is a charming one which I would say is also in part due to its "nice & neat" grounds (mainly a small lawn but also like a mini-garden with a pathway along the edge which goes all the way around the Cathedral). And yes, after the walk around the building & taking a peek inside from the entrance was just heading back out due to the admission (which I never had to pay on my cathedral visits except at some big cathedrals with museums & such inside which I'm quite sure is not the case inside this one).
And actually just across the street from one side of this cathedral is the Government House which is a 2-storied beautiful heritage building with a spacious front lawn & a not-too-high lovely fence (but closed to public at the time due to some renovation or such going on). And also nearby, at just about a 5-minute walk from this cathedral (by heading back along the street between this cathedral & the Government House in the direction of downtown but a right turn shortly after leaving) is the waterfront area like a "long promenade" from which there's a view of both the Creek & the sea beyond (from near one end of the promenade).Written January 17, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. After being guided through a gorgeous maze of gardens, I enjoyed a message here from a talented young woman. She was firm and thorough, and I felt so extremely relaxed afterwards. I don't think I've ever had such a good leg and foot massage! She really knew pressure points and how to use the right force without making me feel ticklish or in too much pain. Thank you so much for your expertise! We also stayed at the hotel which was an equally enjoyable experience, extremely relaxing after a lot of travel. The pool and cafe featured here were wonderful and convenient. With some of the best chai tea we've had!Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Wayne Shelly N2 contributionsMy husband and I purchased tanzanite earrings, ring and bracelet when we were visiting Belize. Cristian Reyes (Manager) and Monica Marriott were so helpful and so so friendly! We were a little leary about buying but so glad we did! They told us it would appraise for more than we purchased it for. When we got home we got it appraised and they were right!! We are very happy with a purchase. Thanks again Monica and Cristian!!Written December 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MainjaneVancouver, Canada22 contributionsI can say only good things. This is a small family business with very good and friendly drivers. Always on time. Have a handy online prebooking link that you can trust. We used them several times while in Belize and they never disappointed. Denny responds very quickly via text or emails.

They accommodated me, traveling solo, last minute and this tour was a highlight of my trip for sure. Dennis Sr was responsive and professional for booking and his son, Dennis Jr, was my guide and was personable, knowledgeable, and responsible. 10/10 experience, highly recommendWritten December 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jilltravelstheworldWashington DC, DC29 contributionsWe had the best time on our Lamanai tour with Julian! He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, temples, and really fun to spend the day with. We got picked up and dropped off, it was such a smooth experience. The boat ride was gorgeous! The temples at Lamanai are amazing and Julian had brought a delicious lunch with a habanero pico de gallo that was so good!!! I was recommended this tour company by a friend and am so glad I booked it, I will be recommending it to all of my friends!Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JSharp1 contributionElias cares deeply for everyone he serves. I had the privilege of riding with him by myself to pick up supplies for our trip. We had a great conversation about his heart and care for the children of Belize. He has a wonderful sense of humor and a joyous soul.
His knowledge of the country, the roads, and the BIRDS is second-to-none! At no point did we every feel unsafe. He actually made our trip all the better.
I look forward to working with him again in the future.Written January 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seaside478750128122 contributionsAmazing Trip to Belize and that’s thanks to King David. Everything was planned out perfectly without any issues. Upon arrival he was waiting there with a sign. Whenever you land in a foreign country there is an element of the unknown but King David alleviated the doubt. Planning the travel was so easy with him and he had great recommendations. I’ll be going back to Belize and I’ll be going with King David and his team again.Written December 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leann S2 contributionsOk - so we (self, husband, 10-yo son) cruised to Belize and did the Altun Ha and Wildlife Riverboat Cruise with Sidney, Coconut Pete and Denise. Nothing short of amazing.
Sidney is an AMAZING guide. He provided information about Belize, it's people and culture in an unforgettable manner. "We are a land of many cultures, but only one people". That should be on a shirt!!! Anyway - so much great information presented in a fun, relatable manner. Then we got to Altun Ha and it was breathtaking. The history of the Mayan people is mesmerizing. Ultimately we were left to climb the ruins and meander about. Now understand that this writer is deathly afraid of heights, 58 years old, overweight and moving on 2 knees that are scheduled for replacement. My husband was my cheerleader and coached me up the climb as my 10-year old scampered right up. I go to the top, but through the panic-driven tears I admitted he was right. This was a "once-in-a-lifetime" climb. I mean folks, you CANNOT miss this view - this FEELING - from on top of this structure. And if I can get up there, YOU can get up there!! lol
Then off we went for lunch, which was great, then to the riverboat cruise. Because of the heat, we saw 1 crocodile and some bats, but no other wildlife on the river. Then we got to open water to come across to dock and a small pod of dolphins decided to play in our wake! To watch them jump and flip and play, all with no outside interaction was amazingly beautiful. It was the perfect ending to the perfect tour.
Thank you. Sidney, Coconut Pete, and Denise - you guys are amazing and hopefully our paths will cross again someday. And I'm serious - I'll be your first customer for that t-shirt with Sidney's quote on it!!

My husband and I felt very safe and in good hand with Natalie as our guide. The excursion swimming with the rays and sharks and snorkeling on the reef was one of the very best experiences we have been on. Getting to feed and see the Tarpon was a bonus. Thank you all and we wish you all the best.Written November 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
