- Johanna KDawsonville, GA48 contributionsMy friend & I were on a cruise excursion & thought the Crystal cave with tubes & lunch would be fun !! It was over an hour bus ride but our guide Peter made it so fun & interesting !! He told us about Belize, sang a song, made us laugh, it was a great trip !! The caves were huge inside some parts & Peter was very knowledgeable about the cave which made it interesting. We’re (senior citizens) & he made sure we were safe & helped us when needed, which wasn’t very much Lol. The food was good but the drink I ordered was even better !! Overall a great experience !!Written September 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris OlsenSalt Lake City, UT31 contributionsBe sure to stop and do these 2 hikes. The first is a challenging “straight up” hike to a valley lookout. This hike is steep and challenging so you will earn your waterfall swim afterward. Then go to the waterfall for a quick chilly swim – so refreshing after the lookout hike. The rangers are super friendly and helpful.Written February 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James G1 contributionWe spent a week in Belize and worked with Paul and Cordelia to schedule drives all over the country. Belize City to Punta Gorda, then back up the Dangriga, then to the Tropical Education Center (Belize Zoo), then back the the airport.
Paul and Cordelia were super responsive, courteous, and professional during our booking process, and half the price of some other services we looked at.
We rode with Jorge (I believe that's the spelling) for the longest legs, and he was a wonderful conversationalist. We picked his brain about all kinds of topics and learned a lot about Belizean culture, nature, etc. We also rode with Troy, who was hilarious and also a great conversationalist.
And our last trip was actually Paul himself, who was the cherry on top of our vacation. Just one of the kindest, most thoughtful people you could meet, and in our short ~30 minute ride, we had in-depth and enlightening conversations about everything Belize.
HIGHLY recommend these folks. They won't just get you around the country safely, quickly, and comfortably - you'll also learn a lot from the incredible people who work there.Written August 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our tour was transformed from a fascinating archaeological visit into a memorable journey back in time, thanks to his expert storytelling and deep knowledge of Maya history. Denis not only walked us through the ancient ruins but filled each moment with vivid local color, from tales of rituals at the temples to insights into the plants and animals surrounding us.
His energy was infectious, and you could tell he has a genuine passion for sharing Belize’s heritage. Every question we asked—no matter how niche or offbeat—was met with a thoughtful, answer that enhanced the exprience.Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, temples, and really fun to spend the day with. We got picked up and dropped off, it was such a smooth experience. The boat ride was gorgeous! The temples at Lamanai are amazing and Julian had brought a delicious lunch with a habanero pico de gallo that was so good!!! I was recommended this tour company by a friend and am so glad I booked it, I will be recommending it to all of my friends!Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eric FNew Orleans, LA1 contributionSpeedy and Felix at Cavetubing.com were amazing. We had no trouble getting to the cave site or back to the boat on time. It was nice to see cruise ship excursions carrying their own tubes, while ours were carried for us earlier that morning. It is a significant walk through the rain forest up and down hill. Even with a lot of different people worried about a lot of different things, Speedy handled it with a professional attitude. I would do this excursion again and I would recommend it to my family and friends.Written August 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrea C1 contributionHad a great experience with this local company! We were a party of 29 that booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us. There are a few things you need to know before booking.
1. Most important, you must have cash if not paying in full and make sure you check your receipt to see if you made a deposit or paid in full. Because it is a very long drive and by the time we all got off the cruise ship, we didn’t realize we needed cash to pay the balance. It caused a delay in our arrival.
2. In my opinion, the food was awesome. But if you’re bougie and want a fancy restaurant experience, that is not what you get. You get a home cooked Belizean meal outside on the patio. Some of the kids in our group didn’t want to try their traditional food.
3. We had Junior as our tour guide which was a great experience. He explain his life experience of growing up in Belize and explained the plants and history of Belize while walking to the river.
4. The mile walk to the cave may not be for everyone…make sure you wear comfortable water shoes/Crocs because some of the walk is through rocks and can be rough on your feet. You can rent water socks/shoes. Some people didn’t mind but some people felt the rocks under their feet.
Even if you feel some of what I put is negative, the views in and around the cave were beautiful and well worth the walk. Everyone we dealt with was very hospitable, courteous, fun and I recommend this company to everyone.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leann S3 contributionsOk - so we (self, husband, 10-yo son) cruised to Belize and did the Altun Ha and Wildlife Riverboat Cruise with Sidney, Coconut Pete and Denise. Nothing short of amazing.
Sidney is an AMAZING guide. He provided information about Belize, it's people and culture in an unforgettable manner. "We are a land of many cultures, but only one people". That should be on a shirt!!! Anyway - so much great information presented in a fun, relatable manner. Then we got to Altun Ha and it was breathtaking. The history of the Mayan people is mesmerizing. Ultimately we were left to climb the ruins and meander about. Now understand that this writer is deathly afraid of heights, 58 years old, overweight and moving on 2 knees that are scheduled for replacement. My husband was my cheerleader and coached me up the climb as my 10-year old scampered right up. I go to the top, but through the panic-driven tears I admitted he was right. This was a "once-in-a-lifetime" climb. I mean folks, you CANNOT miss this view - this FEELING - from on top of this structure. And if I can get up there, YOU can get up there!! lol
Then off we went for lunch, which was great, then to the riverboat cruise. Because of the heat, we saw 1 crocodile and some bats, but no other wildlife on the river. Then we got to open water to come across to dock and a small pod of dolphins decided to play in our wake! To watch them jump and flip and play, all with no outside interaction was amazingly beautiful. It was the perfect ending to the perfect tour.
Thank you. Sidney, Coconut Pete, and Denise - you guys are amazing and hopefully our paths will cross again someday. And I'm serious - I'll be your first customer for that t-shirt with Sidney's quote on it!!

I was intrigued and had a lot of questions from the moment my friend and I reserved our Belize vacation about doing a helicopter "Blue Hole Adventure" tour over the Blue hole, Turneffe Islands and Barrier Reef.
Customer service correspondence was answered immediately by Travis. We went back and forth with email questions and he answered every one of them throughout the week. Once I got all the information, I presented it to my friend and we made the decision to do it, because it is not cheap adventure.
I had booked and confirmed our reservation for 2, 4 months in advance back in February. Once everything was confirmed We got a time and a Google map location of exactly where to meet within the San Pedro Airport from Travis. We had a helicopter for 4 people, so essentially it was a private tour, the pilot and my friend and I. The actual day we flew, there was some delay due to smoke and haze, which was out of their control. So plan that extra time for delays, if needed.
Shawn our pilot was so nice, very friendly and very informative throughout our tour telling us the history and showing us the sites. The views were stunning and the flight was smooth and fun. Thank you Shawn for making our experience priceless.
Customer Service: excellent. Pilot: excellent. Total Tour Experience: excellent.Written June 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My husband and I felt very safe and in good hand with Natalie as our guide. The excursion swimming with the rays and sharks and snorkeling on the reef was one of the very best experiences we have been on. Getting to feed and see the Tarpon was a bonus. Thank you all and we wish you all the best.Written November 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Molly LNew York City, NY48 contributionsWe had a great experience with Jason and Randy. We saw sharks, rays, manatees, and a turtle. The lunch was also really nice, and they had beer and fruit to offer toward the end of the trip. Our guides were very funny and knowledgeable. And man can they free dive! They even had a GoPro to take pics of you. Thanks Nauti!Written February 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MichellFort Worth, TX1 contributionWe met Carlos at the port who then left us with Captain Chino. We had the best time in Belize!! We got to swim with sharks and stingrays in the most stunning waters I have ever seen! We also snorkeled by the barrier reef and stopped in for a fabulous lunch in Caye Caulker.
