- Johanna KDawsonville, GA48 contributionsMy friend & I were on a cruise excursion & thought the Crystal cave with tubes & lunch would be fun !! It was over an hour bus ride but our guide Peter made it so fun & interesting !! He told us about Belize, sang a song, made us laugh, it was a great trip !! The caves were huge inside some parts & Peter was very knowledgeable about the cave which made it interesting. We’re (senior citizens) & he made sure we were safe & helped us when needed, which wasn’t very much Lol. The food was good but the drink I ordered was even better !! Overall a great experience !!Written September 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- amandaking8763Saint Charles, MO24 contributionsBeautiful place 15min hike to gorgeous waterfall. I have to be honest we are 46 and 49 and almost made it to the waterfall but had to turn back due to the degree of slippery rocks, water that we were walking in, and no real trail to get there. We started slipping and our feet very uneasy under us so we decided to be safe and turn back. This was still an amazing experience and breath taking. On our way back there was an area of water that we crossed about knee deep that we were able to sit down in and cool off in the crystal clear water.Written December 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew M5 contributionsWe were a family of seven adults and were comfortable in their huge spotless van. The drivers were on-time, friendly, and informative. I received quick responses to emails for scheduling and last-minute changes. The company will work with you to make arrangements according to your needs/desires. We traveled from Belize City Airport to San Ignacio, took a day trip to zipline/cavetube, drove from San Ignacio to the Belize City Water Taxi, and finally from water taxi back to airport. No complaints. Abraham was the perfect driver in all aspects.Written December 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chacha8888Houston, TX4 contributionsGot picked up from the cruise ship terminal and had a wonderful time tubing. We consider this the best activity at the Belize cruise port stop. Highly recommended this tour. Loved it!Written January 6, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David S7 contributionsI couldn’t give more than five stars because it won’t allow it. Our tour guide Sean was the best I’ve ever had for cave tubing in Belize. This company is so professional and well run. Yoni the owner of Butts Up Cave tubing treated every single person on the tour like it was his best customer ever. Thanks again and I recommend this company compared to the cruise lines in which they shove you in like sardines.Written December 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jilltravelstheworldWashington DC, DC29 contributionsWe had the best time on our Lamanai tour with Julian! He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, temples, and really fun to spend the day with. We got picked up and dropped off, it was such a smooth experience. The boat ride was gorgeous! The temples at Lamanai are amazing and Julian had brought a delicious lunch with a habanero pico de gallo that was so good!!! I was recommended this tour company by a friend and am so glad I booked it, I will be recommending it to all of my friends!Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janice P8 contributionsMy husband & I had a wonderful time with David on 3 tours: Altun Ha, Howler Monkey sanctuary & the Beluze Zoo. David was a very enthusiastic tour guide and gave us a wonderful introduction to the history of Altun Ha. - LizzyBennett12United States200 contributionsOn a recent cruise to the Western Caribbean, we visited Belize and booked a tour to the ancient Lamanai Mayan ruins. This was one of the best shore excursions we've ever been on. Our fantastic guide, Coconut Pete, collected us from the harbor, and after a bus ride through the Belizan countryside, we arrived at the Ayinha Adventure Center. From there, we traveled by boat to the Lamanai Mayan ruins, which included the Temple of the Jaguar and the Mask. As a history lover, these are unforgettable sights. On the way, lunch was served at the adventure center. Overall, this was a perfectly organized trip with wonderful guides. Could not recommend any higher! Thank you! :-)Written December 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tammy W12 contributionsNatalie, 2 tall, (Mr. Lyndel Pook) as well as the rest of the boat crew were very nice, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I felt very safe and in good hand with Natalie as our guide. The excursion swimming with the rays and sharks and snorkeling on the reef was one of the very best experiences we have been on. Getting to feed and see the Tarpon was a bonus. Thank you all and we wish you all the best.Written November 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KayS_10Pittsfield, MA118 contributionsOur family has flown with Astrum four times now from Belize city to various Belize resorts and not only did the flights save us considerable time, compared with driving or taking a boat launch, it was a marvelous way to see the country. The flight over “the blue hole” was simply incredible. The pilots are excellent pilots who are also very congenial and knowledgable about the country.Written January 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason B4 contributionsWe did the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins and Lunch shore excursion through Carnival and loved it. The port in Belize City requires tendering and both ways our tender crews were great. The port area is built up with shops and food spots and the Chukka folks moved us through the area to our bus with ease. Once on the bus our tour guide Letisha treated us to a rundown of the history of Belize with a level of pride someone who loves their country exudes. We were then able to tour the Mayan Ruins which were extraordinary which was followed by a delicious lunch just ten minutes down the road. Also, while at the Mayan Ruins I recommend the banana bread from the local vendor near the bus parking.Written January 23, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan S1 contributionWe went on the barrier reef snorkel excursion. It was fantastic. Willie our tour guide was Amazing very professional, spoke loud and clear and was precise in directions. He and his crew made everyone feel safe and confident to be in the water.
He pointed out interesting facts, fish and marine life.
The reef itself was alive with color....so many different species of fish, plants, coral. The boat was clean and well equipped.
I would Highly recommend this tour.Written January 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our tour guide was Elvin and he was very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Hands down the best tour I have ever been on! The food was great, and the information about the ruins, the jungle, and cave tubing was great as well. Would HIGHLY recommend!Written June 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
