We snorkeled and then visited the nurse sharks - we swam with them and it was an amazing experience. The crew was very attentive & helped eveyone move around the vessel. We were given fruit, ceviche, soft drinks, water & RUM! We also enjoyed the music as we sailed on the water. After our time in the water we were taken to Caye Caulker for lunch and to feed the Tarpon (fish). Charlie and Anna were two of the best guides ever, Anna was just amazing, the way she dove down the flush out fish for us to see and made sure all of us saw everything, she made us food and gave us the best drinks I’ve ever had, the things we saw were so beautiful and the boat was amazing also! Charlie joking and getting us there and back safely. - MermanSFSan Francisco, CA165 contributionsBlackhawk tours is the perfect tour operator for tailored small groups with various levels of experience. The headline here is that this is an honest small business that is consistently highly recommended and we want to confirm that with our experiences. The most obvious concerns we had going into this was - can we get the snorkeling support we need given our poorer water skills, and would this still be worth the trip if we aren’t as comfortable in the water. So, we decided to do a private half a day snorkeling tour for two with them.
From the very beginning, Daniel (the company owner) was accommodating, understanding, and reassuring. Their communication by email and WhatsApp were rapid and thorough. He ensured that we had the requisite equipment (floatation, flippers, goggles, snorkel) so that we would be comfortable going in the water. Once in the water, we received helpful tips and instruction. And in the times where we simply needed to be more supported, Daniel allowed us to float in the water while he helped navigate and this allowed us to enjoy without any concerns.
We saw plenty of fish, coral, rays, sharks, tarpon, etc. We were taught about the island, reef, and community.

I came as a customer and left feeling like a cherished friend!
I did this my first morning on the island and can’t imagine any better way to welcome myself to Ambergris Caye. All the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful! Beverages flowed freely whether you wanted a Panty Ripper or just a soda. Charlie’s fish was the best I’ve had!
I saw so many wonderful things and learned so much about the sea life as well as Belize. The catamaran itself was stellar: my husband and I lounged most of the trip on expansive, deep foam cushions on the bow of the boat while Anna popped up through the lower cabin access with food and drink for us or came up to give us information about the location, the population, the weather, her own family—answering with intelligence and humor whatever questions we threw at her. The snorkeling itself was great: gorgeous fish, the name of every single one Anna had ready to hand; Anna free diving down to point out a cave or bring up a conch for us to see close up, but keeping it underwater to protect it. Their communication was excellent, always informing us about pick up times, locations, equipment, and responding to questions very quickly.
We took two snorkeling trips and a fishing trip with them. The team of guides is nothing short of exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about both the environment and providing an incredible experience. They made sure we felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire journey, whether we were snorkeling or fishing.
The crystal-clear blue waters of Belize are simply breathtaking, and the marine life is abundant and vibrant. We were lucky enough to see a variety of tropical fish, rays, turtles, manatees, and plenty of sharks, all while floating in the warm, turquoise waters. Our snorkeling guide, Ricky, was awesome. He knew the best spots to snorkel, pointing out hidden creatures in the coral reef. There were plenty of ice cold waters, sodas and beers as well as fresh ceviche when we got back in the boat.
Our fishing guides, Pancho and Julio took great care of us too, helping us all reel in plenty of fish outside the reef. Later, we came inside the reef and they helped our son find lobsters and he was able to spear them. They grilled up a delicious lunch for us while we relaxed on shore.
Whether you're snorkeling or fishing, a beginner or experienced, Wicked Adventures caters to everyone. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire trip seamless and enjoyable. Love Beach is truly private and a relaxing stop. Secret Beach is not so secret anymore and is a very popular and busy spot. We did get some drinks and food from the beach bar and enjoyed some time sitting at the edge of the water. Our guides were great. They let the younger adults really enjoy their freedom on the jet skis but stopped and waited whenever anyone fell behind the group. They got us back home ahead of the giant storm cloud & rain that chased us back to the marina! They made sure everyone was comfortable and had whatever they needed. This is hands down the best way to see Hol Chan, Shark Ray alley, Caye Caulker, and the incredible sunset Belize has to offer!
