- Molly S18 contributionsThis little place is on the way from San Pedro to Secret Beach. We stopped originally because the first place we stopped didn't have water for the long trek out there. The FIRST time we stopped we got two bottles of water and fresh mango juice. I mean fresh made before my eyes, fresh. I can honestly say we stopped every time we drove by, to and from San Pedro, (we stayed at Secret Beach) for the next 5 days after that.
JC makes THE BEST mojito I have ever tasted, specifically coconut. He uses fresh coconut. He is a master, taking his time to make sure it is perfect. On Thursday, they had BBQ. JC boasted that they made the best chimichurri sauce on the planet. Being from Phoenix, I was a little hesitant, but we got the chicken BBQ and he was right. I have NEVER had chimichurri THAT GOOD. The whole meal was delicious; potato salad, rice and beans and a heaping pile of chicken.
Now, I must be honest and say that we did not go to the bar, only the Tiki Hut. But that was the best part, JC making drinks, it wasn't crowded and only locals were there. You can also get the drinks to go as you head to Secrect Beach or back to San Pedro. I HIGHLY recommened this place to you. Truly a retro arcade with classic arcade games! The gentleman at the bar was telling us about the great length the establishment to track down these games, and it was worth it! While some are out of order due to their age, there are still plenty in good working order!

Prices are reasonable. The area around the pool bar itself is catered from the "Terrace" which has a completely different menu then the Blue Hole poolside service - the folks that are walking around and serving guests around the pool. The menus for each are quite different and it's a bit frustrating that they make such a distinction with both options so close to each other.
The nachos were quite delicious with the toppings being very fresh. The service comes by quite often - perhaps too often sometimes (but I appreciate the service). You would almost miss it as their signage is not lit up at night. We stopped in there one night because we heard they had good dance music. - James L6 contributionsWe used this shop to supply liquor to 25 people attending a wedding. We ordered a resupply each evening and it showed up first thing the next morning. We kept that up for 6 days and they were always on time and had everything we ordered. I would recommend them to supply liquor, beet and wine during your visit. - Erin M11 contributionsVery nice uncrowded day! We started Sunset Palace about 10am and had the place to ourselves. Super friendly bar staff and massage was top notch! Water was a little too choppy to get in but plenty of room to relax. Grabbed lunch at Swing Bar. What a treat! Great local spot with a family run atmosphere.
