My husband and I had so much fun on this tour! We stopped more times than is promised (a good thing!); Charles and Adeena were friendly and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife; and we saw a manatee, many nurse sharks, sea turtles, hermit crabs, and I can't even begin to tell you all of the fish. To help your experience be all it can be, I recommend you take your own underwater camera. The tour promises a GoPro on all boats, but ours didn't have one. Our tour was split between three boats, and the other two had the cameras. While the three boats stopped at sites together, we really had very minimal interaction and never saw the cameras and haven't seen a single picture. I would be very disappointed if I hadn't picked up my own last minute. Lunch was delicious and included a drink but consider taking water for the rest of the trip. I didn't and felt a little dehydrated by lunch. I also highly recommend wearing a rash guard. We sunscreened well before getting in the water and tried to reapply. However, we were in and out of the water so much, we were never really dry enough to reapply well. My butt and the back of my thighs burned slightly, and I can only imagine my back would have been toast! Lastly, heads up that this tour leaves from Caye Caulker - not San Pedro. The info clearly says this, but we overlooked it because we specifically searched for stuff to do in San Pedro. Fortunately, we learned of the water taxi between islands! Have fun!

Amazing tours! I have been to San Pedro in the past and Ovel’s tours are fantastic. Far superior to the ones I’ve booked in the past. We booked the Mayan Temple and Cave tubing earlier in the week and then did the full day snorkel trip. Ketton was our guide for the Temples and cave tubing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He really made our day 5 star experience. The Cave tubing is a must!

Ovel and Jeremiah were with us for our full day snorkel. They were friendly, knowledgeable and put us at ease with their safety procedures. We had one of the best snorkel experiences with seeing sea turtles, sharks, rays, a huge manatee, sea horses and did a tarpon feeding! Also, the rum punch was a nice treat after the snorkel.

I will only we booking with Ovel on future trips. Book with them now. You won’t be disappointed!

MEXICAN ROCKS REEF IN BELIZE!!!! This was honestly the MOST AMAZING boat trip I've ever been on, TWICE in the past 4 months & with 2 different friends. The guys who run this are all related so it's definitely a family business and they go out of their way to ensure that you have a great time! Given that they all grew up here, they know so much about the reefs and the species & they go out of their way to ensure a wonderful and very safe trip. THE LUNCH WAS THE BEST MEAL I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, which is a bold statement for someone who's benenover 40 countries ...I went for conch season and also lobster and I have to tell you both meals were incredible. Our guide even brought his grandmother's homemade tortillas and we were eating this amazing meal on the beach (as you can see for the pictures) while another group, on a different boat tour was super upset because they weren't being fed. I'm adding pictures because if you can't tell, we are all incredibly happy with this experience and I highly recommend it!!!!!!

Jerry and Ovel are the best. Trip was unbelievable. We snorkel often and this was by far the best snorkeling trip we have been on. We saw sea turtles, stingrays, sharks, puffer fish, tarpons, sea horses, and manatees. The kids (age 11-14) had a blast. Highly recommend.

My husband, sister in law, and I joined for a sunset cruise. It was a beautiful experience and the staff was very accommodating. We brought our own bottles of wine and they kept them cold for us and refilled our glasses frequently. The food was also very tasty.

The guides knew exactly where to take you to see the best views on the snorkeling. I’ve never sailed before but this has got me hooked. It was a relaxing sail to caye caulker. The guides were friendly and funny.

Our 1/2 day private charter was incredible. The crew decorated the boat for my husbands birthday and the drinks and onboard made Ceviche were amazing. The captain and the “mate” who guided our Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley snorkeling were both fun and knowledgeable. The sunset was beautiful out on the water. Everything from inquiring via email to day of was spectacular.

The tour, which I took with Catamaran Belize couldn't be better. The atmosphere is amazing, very private and with beautiful girls, the crew is profesional and they treat you like a king. The food is delicious, very fresh and of a good quality, and all you can drink is amazing. The spots, which we visited are unbelievable, Caye Caulker is amazing, snorkeling with sharks is a unique experience, but the best thing is the sunset watching on Catamaran. If you want tospend a day, which you won't regret it for the rest of your life, book a tour with Catamaran Belize.

We had such a great time at Mexico Rocks. It was easy to find the blue tang in and everyone there was very kind and helpful. Lewis was a great tour guide so I’d say this excursion is definitely worth it.

Went out with Murray and Elvis, they kept things lively in the boat--once we got in the water, Elvis knew every fish like he hangs out with them after work. Lunch was chicken and rice, cooked perfectly. Finished off with a couple low-key seahorse/tarpon spots on the backside of the Caye. Saw so many turtles, so many sharks, and such a big cross section of the beauty of the reef.

Wonderful fun time with Alex and Jose as only seven of us sped across the water in the twin-outboard boat, a low rooster tail trailing behind us. They said it was the best weather they had had in some time. We stopped at Caye Caulker to put in our lunch order at Fantasy Dining, then headed out to the Coral Gardens to be guided by Jose. They were the largest coral heads I had seen in my prior snorkeling experience, and the water was clear. We saw schools of blue tang, and other individual fish, but it was not as teeming with fish as I thought it would be. They said the best time to really see the reef is in a night snorkel. Then we were off to Shark Ray Alley, where the nurse sharks and manta rays gathered. Alex fed the 15 or so sharks herring, while we got out the other side of the boat into 3-4' of water, with manta rays gliding all around us. I got within 2' of the writhing intertwined sharks, taking pictures with my underwater camera. We hopped back in the boat to eat our lunch at Fantasy Dining. My wife got the special of stone crab claw curry with coconut rice and a garden salad, and I got mild jerk chicken breast with coconut rice and caramelized plantains. We sat at a picnic table under a cover, enjoying the most delicious authentic food we had ever had with our pop in glass bottles. We were in heaven! Caye Caulker is only 3 sand streets deep, so we could not get lost if we wished to explore. We were enjoying real island life! At the end, a baker rolled in his two-wheeled cart with his freshly baked goods - banana cake, pineapple roll, coconut cake, coconut roll, and coconut tarts -- $3 each or 2/$5. I got the coconut cake from the baker, who had been doing it for 29 years, still warm, and oh so good! We boarded the boat to go back to Belize City in time to catch one of the last tenders back to the ship, racing another like-fitted boat, and beating it. Great people, and a great day!

Fantastic adventure. Our guide, Adrian, was so knowledgeable, not just about Belize, her history and place in the world, but also the local ecology, economics, and news around the globe. That would be a tall order for anyone. However, Adrian added humor, kindness, patience and spunk. Our conversations in the car were one of the highlights of the trip.

Our family agreed that the best days were snorkeling on Silk Caye with Go Sea Tours and the ATM cave journey. Our guide, Hector, with Maya Walk Tours which Charlie the Traveler arranged for us, was TOP notch. He exuded care for us in a very tricky expedition. Bless him.

We were awestruck to have Dino with us at the Mayan ruins in Caracol and Xunantunich. How amazing it was to have an archeological expert to personally walk us through the ruins and bring all the politics and architecture of those time to life for us? Opened my eyes to a seldom studied society via the U.S. school system. We really are still Eurocentric in the classrooms of America.

We particularly enjoyed Mahogany Bay Resort that Charlie recommended. We rented the family cabin and were able to cook all our own breakfasts and dinners. They supplied giant bottles of water, and we even had a clothes washer and dryer!

In conclusion, this is not a tour for the faint of heart. You will not rest on a huge bus, and then be spoon fed. This is an experience. A personal journey. You will have to overcome some fears, set backs and complications. You will be stronger as a person and a family when you concur all these exciting challenges. We have traveled to some 30 countries. Belize is a secret gift to the soul.
