- Allison BCheticamp, Canada77 contributionsI would not advise to do this without the help of a Disney planner. Even with a written itinerary from a seasoned agent, Disney parks is no joke! Is it busy? Of course it is! It’s the most popular attraction in the world for families and adults alike! But if you’re there to truly immerse yourself in what Disney has to offer, you will have a great time.
Lightening lanes were useless in my opinion, with stand-by lines often having shorter and closer wait-times than if you booked a lightening lane for an hour or more away. 60 minute wait times for certain rides were difficult, especially with children. Disney should consider how to make such rides more functional for the amount of visitors they have daily.
Cast members were inconsistent in nature, with some providing curt/incorrect location directions vs staff who would go out of their way to walk us to where we needed to go. Disney should have more signs available throughout the parks to help families more easily navigate the parks and to take additional strain off their cast members.
Though a map is made available, it is not user friendly if it’s your first time. I only noted on our second day that you can use the location tab on the mobile app to see where you are and how to get where you need to go. This would have saved us so much time and energy.
Bathrooms in the park are well kept. There were at least 2 cleaning ladies in each bathroom I entered who were consistently making their rounds from stall to stall to keep it clean and well stocked. Well done!
We went for the Holiday season and it’s an experience we will treasure forever. The fireworks brought my husband to tears while the parade had me equally in tears. We only had two days and though we seen most of the park, a third day would have allowed us to fully experience the park as we did miss some rides and attractions. We went from 2 PM to 11 PM and used Lightening Lanes and Single Riders.
Lots of places to sit, enjoy snacks and soak in the atmosphere.
World of Color is absolutely amazing. It is the best show at the park.
We didn’t do all of the rides and Lightening Lanes can run out by mid-afternoon. - Ed S1 contributionI went on a family trip with my son n his family. Made reservations at the Paseo. Well I first. Was ok go with the flow. The experience was great. Our server Rudy was A+ we had 2 little kids he was quick to be sure they were taken care of. I got the chicken enchiladas and to be honest probably the best ever. Son n daughter both extremely happy with their choices as well. But it was a nice shaded place for a leisurely stroll. It's free, too. - Karen R1 contributionI took my class of 32 high school students to Flight Deck 1 for a field trip, and it was awesome! Highly recommended. I thought the group would be too large, but FD1 had a cool plan to break the class into groups, giving them clever squadron names, and rotating teams through the fighters, commercial simulator, and formula race cars. The students were so engaged in the activities, and it was a good learning experience. They kept track of scores and awarded certificates to the highest achievers. I highly recommend it to other teachers. For food, I brought drinks and snacks, that they were able to store in a refrigerator, and I ordered pizzas the day before from California Pizzas. There is space to set everything up. The staff was great; they were very nice to my students and me. You'll climb up and up to get to the start then work your way back down to the ground level. Along the way are some scenes from the movie / story but when you get to the bottom there is a kids play area. Cages to rattle, trees to look into, photo point with river, drums to hit etc.. I have played quite a few scary escape rooms, but this one truly delivered the level of fear I was looking for. The room was super unique and provided an amazing experience;it felt like I was part of a movie .this is definitely my absolute favorite escape room so far. Logan and Chris were amazing! They honestly made the experience for us. I will definitely be returning!!! The place was packed and the line to the bar was very long, the prices are very expensive. The drawbacks were the price drink menu plus no table seating or comfortable seating for the injured handicapped crowd.
