In the past, however, this river was heavily polluted and unsanitary. Good we made progress since then. The river adds life and personality to Washington DC. It's amazing something so natural can do that.Written April 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Vicki ABrunswick, Md.1,355 contributionsWe LOVED our hike along this part of the C & O Canal Towpath. A little narrow at points and having to cross the bridge to continue on the path but we found our way. We loved it!Written June 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LeonhknyHong Kong, China12,241 contributionsWalking along the reflecting pool gives visitors a send of historical burden. Either way round, travelers are witnessing two major events in US history i.e. Civil War and WWII. This is also a good place to stop and think.Written December 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
