Shawn, our driver kept us safe and tried to keep us out of the cold and windy conditions as much as possible. The monuments were beautiful, and we saw the White House Christmas tree, too. I've been on a few yours but this was definitely the best one because of the nice transportation and in-depth knowledge of the tour guide. Took the Amtrak from Philadelphia to
met at Grand Union Station at Melinda
Very relaxed and informative as she was able to drive and stop all the way down the National Mall. It was pre election snd the skies were blue
The tour was very informative and she allowed lots of stops for is to wonder off and take photographs.
At the end of the Tour she dropped is in Georgetown for a great Lunch
We then walked back to Union station to get our train via the river

We saw so much and learned so much about DC and our country's history! - Donald D9 contributionsMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening tour with Christopher. He picked us up at our hotel in a spacious SUV and gave us some options of things to see. We generally followed his recommendations to see several memorials, including the Lincoln (of course), the WW2, the MLK, the Korean War, and the USMC Iwo Jima statue. He provided just enough information without overloading us, knew the answers to all pour questions, parked conveniently close to the monuments, gave us nice introductions to each one, and then waited patiently while we walked through them at our leisure. We saw all the sights we wanted to see and even a surprise monument we didn’t even know existed - and we’ve lived in the DC area for many years. - Mobile125555136012 contributionsThe hop on and off feature was fabulous! We did the entire circle we the first day to get the full trip in mind, and selected stops the 2nd day. Only bad thing was the boat tour. Complete waste of 2:45 hours. Boring and loud...AND we found out the night before that it was only a 1 way ticket with the package adding another $40 to our trip (would've been $75 if we had to purchase the trip back once in Gorgeto we n). Scam, IMO. In hindsight, we could've done another museum. We also found out on day 2 that we needed printed tickets from the station kiosk to be on the bus a boat. We used our app tickets on day 1 with no issue then were told "no" on day2.
