- Jenny A1 contributionWe had a lovely afternoon at the Argentta spa! My husband had gotten me a gift certificate here for the holidays and I redeemed it for a massage with Sahel who was great. We booked a day pass for my husband also so we could enjoy the pool, sauna and whirlpool together and it felt luke a getaway in the city for a few hours.Written March 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chelsea AWashington DC, DC364 contributionsI stumbled across this place on groupon and am so excited that I did! I began on Tuesday and have been attending everyday!
I have had three instructors thus far, my first instructor was David G. He has been very instrumental and influential in what I have learned. He has corrected me on my form and provided me with a ton of support. He has a great pace.
I also had Allison K and she too has a great tempo and energy. She also has a nice sense of humor.
Most recently, I had LaShone W and I truly appreciated her! Her yoga has a different flare. One, her class had music. Then he sets, pace, target areas- were pleasantly different from the other classes that I had participated in. I loved it so much!
I love how much I sweat, make sure you come here ready to be drencheddd.
The studio is a perfect size. The locker room is pretty small. There's one bathroom stall, three showers, one bench...Theres maybe 12 or so lockers (Ive always been able to secure a locker). There are towels and water available for a small fee but i suggest that you just bring your own.
There's street parking available, H street can be a struggle sometimes but it usually works out.Written January 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This studio is literally across the street from the hotel, offers flexible class packages and has mats and props. This is a sweet, intimate studio. I took 2 of Amelia's classes - great, soulful instructor.Written September 25, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jay MSaint Paul, MN177 contributionsInvestigated several yoga studios but decided on Epic Yoga DC by Dupont Circle. Just like the Knights Templar said to Indy Jones in the Last Crusade, "you chose wisely." I was promptly greeted by one of the staff who was able to check me while the front desk assisted other yogis. This was just the first of many positive experiences at Epic Yoga. The locker rooms were spacious and even had two clean shower stalls. The studios are welcoming, relaxing, and calming just like the instructors. I took several classes during my trip and were impressed with the flow and seeing yogis of all body types. Probably the move body positive diverse yoga studio I have ever visited. Make this one of your stops along with the museums and monuments.Written May 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Terry LChicago, IL418 contributionsThe studio has a calm, welcoming and warm atmospheres. The art work on the walls was beautiful. Our class with the owner, Jennie, was wonderful. She provided helpful instruction for the inexperienced as well as challenges for the more experienced, supple members of our class. The many different sessions each week provide opportunities to explore several different types of practice.Written November 28, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - YogijanelZurich, Switzerland2 contributionsThis studio is amazing! I’ve been practicing there for years. The teachers are awesome and the ownership has an inspiring dedication to social justice issues. The other reviewer here is totally bogus-probably someone who doesn’t read the membership terms which are straightforward and normal across any US studio (you’re charged monthly until you cancel-duh).Written February 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
